Hi, I went onto the internet on 22.11.07 and found it was the 10 year anniversary of Michael's death. I was and still am an avid fan of INXS and have loved reading this memorial website which has allowed me to understand the softer side of this global rock star and father. 10 years ago today, Micheal Hutchence died in Australia, but 10 years ago my daughter was born, the same day. I have never believed the suicide story and I am sorry to Micheal's family, band, friends and fans, that this was even mentioned. Paula and Michael experimented with drugs and sex and it was just an unintentional accident. Micheal's family should be allowed to see Tiger Lily more often - she is part of their family. Bob Geldof has been very gracious to allow Tiger Lily a family with sisters who love her, but she is still half Australian and I hope when she is 18, things will be better for the Hutchence family. Michael's life was cut way too short, his time with us brought us all inspiration, it aided me through turbulent times and also through the better times.. Michael will never be forgotten, his music, passion and love lives on in each and every fan..

I let the silence speak, just remembering a fantastic person that I never met but from what I've read of those who were blessed to get to know him was so warm, intelligent, humble and caring.
My heart and thoughts go to his family and friends today. Especially to Tiger of course.

10 years !!! Where has the time gone ? Michael, miss you heaps, listen to your voice everyday. I can still remember where I was the day I found out you had gone, I can still remember like yesterday, the funeral that I watched through so much tears. Today it's ten years ago since we heard the sad news of Michael passing away. It still brings tears in my eyes as I miss him forever. The memories of him will always be in my heart. We are fortunate that we still have his music and his lyrics. Michael, hope you found freedom where ever you are now!
I've just found out that it's ten years to the day that Michael was sadly taken from us, the music world has not been the same since his passing, although it only feels like yesterday when I last saw INXS play at the NEC in Birmingham in 1997, on the Elegantly Wasted Tour,a fantastic performance that will live with me forever.
If only Michael were here today, the world would be a better place with the sounds of his voice belting out the classics like New Sensation, Need You Tonite & Never tear us Apart, just Imagine the great gigs that are happening in heaven right now, Hendrix, Lennon, Harrison & Hutch, great.
Ten years but never forgotten, those songs will last forever.

Like a lot of people growing up in the 70's and 80's I enjoyed good honest rock music. The best ever was INXS. I was lucky in 1981 to have a beer with the band at the “stage door” in Adelaide, they where just starting to make it Australia. Michael will always be special to me (ask my youngest son “Michael” !!!0

It's been 10 years since Michael left us. I admired him as a person and as a singer and songwriter. Today after work, I will listen to his music, watch his videos and the interviews that I taped while he was alive. I will also watch the live performance that he and his band did in 1997, in the Much Music studio in Toronto, CAN. The best song he performed was “I'm just a man”. That was the first time that I was hearing it.
All that because I want to feel his music in me one more time, and this is my way to honnor him and to give my respect to a man who I admired and respect, and who I miss. He would have done many more very good songs and lyrics.

I can't believe it has been 10 years since we lost you Michael. I remember that very sad day as if it were just yesterday, and the tears and heartache are still there...they always will be.
Your music played a big part in mine and my sisters lives as we grew up together. We were very excited when we saw you and the guys live in concert, that was a huge highlight for us. It is sad that there will never be another voice like yours. God bless and rest in peace. Helen xxxxxxx.
