michael hutchence was a born leader. i was brought up listening to inxs filled my life with joy. i only wished that i could of seen him live.an absoulote fantastic band. he will always be missed god bless all family members

So lovely and respectful this site. I just want to give additional love and admiration. I was 14 (1986) and a particular song I listened to every morning before school gave me a boost of confidence. I can't believe it's almost been 10 years since you left us. I remember how shocked I was when I first heard the news of your passing, I was in a state of shock for days and still can't believe it from time to time.

I have always loved INXS, and of course Michael especially, but haven't thought about them in years, as I grew up listening to them in my early teen years and now I'm (gulp) 36.
Well, oddly enough, last night Michael was in my dream for the very first time. We were at a production of some sort but he was a part of the audience, not the show. He was very happy and he asked me to dance. He asked me about my life and when I told him I had a son who I love very much, he said that was beautiful. He walked back to his friends and I noticed that he was standing there with them but not really with them. It felt so symbolic. It was like he was in their presence but not able to interact with them. He was definitely happy.
I believe dreams are messages and I think this one is clear.
My prayers go out to Michael's family and friends. Even after ten years pass, it is still a struggle to live on earth without the ones you love.

First of all: Happy Valentine's Michael! Just a few words to tell you that I was about to sleep last night, closing my eyes and thinking a poem inspired by you that I now barely remember (I am not good at writing poetry)but I swear I will make an effort to put on paper what I was thinking last night and then will come back to the site and write it here. Meantime, I just have to tell you: please, be my Valentine, just for a while!

Cant believe it has been seven years since his passing all the memories I have as a child of him singing with the band were fantastic. He had such carisma and a wonderful voice. I lived on the U.S. Territory of American Samoa from 1995 through 1998. My husband at the time accepted a lateral transfer there from the Adirondack Mountains of New York. I felt disconnected from the music world until I met a few Australians on island who told me about their band, INXS. I had cassettes shipped to me of the band and was instantly captivated by the music. Michael was a wonder and I can't thank you all enough for the gifts he contributed to the music world. His spirit most definitely lives on and I hope you find comfort in the fact that he was deeply appreciated and loved.
