Happy 47th birthday, Michael. I raised a glass in honor of you today. My thoughts and prayers have been with you, your family, friends, bandmates, and precious Tiger Lily. I hope that she will come to know how much you loved her, and what a sweet, generous, sensitive soul you were. I hope she finds this website and reads how much her father was loved and how you touched the lives of millions of people around the world. You were a gifted and talented man. Your music has given me such joy with its positive, philosophical lyrics and upbeat melody. I have been a devoted fan since the eighties, and an even bigger fan in the last year and a half. For over a year now, I only listen to INXS on my CD player (I never listen to the radio), and I barely watch any tv. The only time I turn tv on is to watch an INXS DVD-usually Live Baby Live. Live Baby Live is always on in my car, as well. It's a fun way to drive around town-jamming to that energetic concert. I know that you are looking down on us and realizing how much you are still loved and what a wonderful impact you have made on the world. If you see my Dad, tell him that I said, “Hello, and I miss him”. He passed away two and a half weeks ago.
Someday, my wish is to go to Australia in time for one of your birthday celebrations.

I am moved as I sit here reading the outporing of love for Michael on his Birthday. The radio is playing Suicide blond, and this inspires me to make this entry as I feel that i just have to add to this love for Michael as he is and STILL continues to be such a big part of a lot of peoples lives all over the world. Nearly 10 years have passed since you left us, but we will never forget the beautiful person and the legend that you were.

Happy birthday to the one singer that makes his profession look so easy - he was born to perform, and I absolutely love him always! He means a lot to so many.

I just finished reading INXS Story To Story:The Official Autobiography. While I was reading I felt as though I was part of the party. I hated to end the book. I have missed you and the band. Happy Birthday! Love Always
