Just a couple of months ago I sat and composed a message for Michael's date of death. Here I sit and compose a b-day wish. My only wish is that I was able to give it to him in person.
Still, I think he was a great frontman, singer, and lyricist. There are many singers who front a band these days but none of them have the true uniqueness that Michael had.
So.........Happy Birthday, Hutch!
(and I didn't cry this time!)

Happy Birthday Michael! I can imagine how beautiful you would still be at 46. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time, especially for beautiful Tigerlily. I know how hard it is to celebrate the birth but miss the person. I see you in the clouds Michael with that beautiful hair blowing and the love and charisma shining as you look down upon us and smile that beautiful smile. Thank you for your love and your music! You are often thought of and greatly missed.

I received the dvd the loved one for christmas and it has brought back a lot of memories of my youth of being a big fan of Inxs and seeing them in concert three times he was an unbeliveable lead singer with an incredible presence. Michael's death was tragic - hearing all the tributes from the people who knew him - he sounded like a truly unique down to earth character - I was very moved by his words saying that happiness to him was being in good company with friends who could see deeper than his public persona of the Rock Star.

I hope wherever he is now he is at peace and happy.

Julian

“ One Of A Kind ”
( Written by Jamie Hibberts )

Voice full of soul,
Eyes wise beyond their years,
You left us much too soon,
We've shed so many tears.

Although we never knew you,
Your presence was felt by all,
Slinking seductively across the stage,
For some unforseen reason we just can't seem to let you go.

We hear your sultry voice,
Feel the intensity in the words as they leave your lips,
We still can't believe you're gone,
If only you could see how desperately you are missed.

Alas, we only have our memories,
To keep us throughout our days,
We treasure them deep within our hearts,
The playful way you smiled we'll never let that fade.

Thank you for your words,
They'll last throughout all time,
Every single groove and riff,
Michael, the way you connected with your fans truly was the gift.

We'll Never Forget You,

A Love Letter From Your Fans.

As I look back at the music industry over the last 25 years it becomes obvious that a lot of artists have tried to equal the talent of one person.

Michael Hutchence you were and still are a Big Star. R.I.P.

I still miss Michael very much. He had such a distinctive and wonderful voice. Whenever I listen to Shaboo Shabah in it's entirety, it is amazing how “Don't Change” takes me back so many years ago to the moment when I first saw the video. I never had the fortune to see INXS when Michael was on this earth and with INXS touring very close to my home in Colorado, I wish them luck but I won't be there since I sad that I couldn't hear Michael's voice belting out the songs....

I just saw an INXS video, which made me remember Michael. Kick was the first album i won at seaside boardwalk when i was 14. What a sensational band!!! Not to mention how handsome Michael was. I also remember the day when I was on my way to work in 1997 at the age of 22 hearing about the tragic loss of Michael. I hoped that it was a mistake or rumour. He is sadly missed by many, and I can feel for the family he left behind, especially his beautiful daughter. Life is harsh sometimes, but hopefully Michael is looking down on us. We will all meet eventually on the other side. Until then, his memory will be cherised by many.

I had the pleasure of meeting michael at the airport in las vegas
Some of the bands bags were missing and I was the agent he approached for help...I didnt recognize him at first so I asked for his I.D, He handed me his passport and I just looked at him and we started laughing...then I noticed the blue nail polish on his toes and I took off my shoe to show him mine, it was the same....I felt like he was an old friend..michael invited me to the show at the Joint that night and I accepted. He was so beautiful inside and out, I am still so sad that he is no longer here but he continues to live through his music and whenever I feel sad about anything I put on some old inxs and his voice soothes me.I feel very lucky to have shared some time on this earth with him.Love and peace to you michael..... eternally ,Donna
