As the world embraces your mates in the band's newest incarnation, please know we haven't forgotten you and all the inspiring music you have given us.

You helped create the soundtrack to many of our lives, and at least one young relationship that has since lasted. I especially recall the thrill of dancing and singing along with you during the concert supporting the Kick album. You were really at your best.

“I'm standing here on the ground” and fondly remembering you. Thank you, Michael.

I will be forever grateful for having experienced you Michael as one of the best vocalists I've ever heard. You were able to reach people through your music in an unique way. Thank you.

8 years ago tonight, I sat in front of my television and wept when Peter Jennings told me that Michael was dead. I thought, “Oh. This must be how Beatles fans felt when John Lennon died.” I was only 13 when he was shot, and in my teenage ignornace, I could not fathom how anyone could be so sad about the death of someone they had never met before. It clicked 8 years ago tonight...I get it now.

I listened to my “Best of” CD in the car tonight, and I got a little weepy when “Never Tear Us Apart” played.

The first time I saw the guys in concert was in 1983 when they opened for the The Go-Go's. I'm going to see them in Charlotte on Februrary 21. I'm trying very hard to be open-minded and give J.D. a chance, but I sure am missing you, Michael.

I hope you've finally found peace, my friend. Thank you for everything.

God makes some people with so much to give you Michael were one. You gave such wonderful music for all to share. It seems that you were a bright and gifted star that was gone too soon. Rest in peace now you will always be remembered. You will always be the brighest star in the heavens.

“Love is stronger then death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”

You will always be loved.

Rest my brother, the band plays on, and you would be very proud. They are blessed to have had you for the time they did and JD should be gratiful for what you left behind.
Always Me!

Rest in peace. Even though a Canadian is now fronting INXS, JD Fortune will never replace the unforgettable you. JD will only honour your memory every time he sing one of your songs. May God Bless your family and may God watch over your precious daughter.

Michaels music continues to bring to mind happy memories. I mark today not with sadness, although it is there, but rather with a smile and an amazement how well his music continues to be timeless. KICK.

Michael, How can we express the sorrow and heartache that we feel of losing you? Your smile, laugh, humor and sense of compassion for those around you. friends, family, fans, etc...You were and still are a “shining star” . IF only we knew of the pain and suffering you were going thru which you hid so well for the most part. But looking back, we can see in hind sight the look of pain you had endured. you never complained.....you were far too busy helping others, makng THEM feel better with their problems. We LOVE you dearly Michael. You are still here with us in spirit, music,TIGER,Patricia,Tina and Rhett who adore you so and misse you more than you could ever realise!! xoxox

It has been eight years since the world lost Michael Hutchence. As
a fan of INXS,I truly admired how he sang.I wish he was still around.I wish I had seen INXS live
while he was still alive.May he rest in peace.

Theis day is always painful for me.Such a great talent, and your music opened the eyes of a“ heavy metal loving kid” and made him understand the beauty and grace of a great rock/funk band.Your talent should receive more respect then it does. And I'll certainly never forget that dark day of November 22.RIP Hutch. You had that “special” gift that few frontmen have.Thanx for the great lyrics.Gary
