The sound of his voice was a gift to this world. And we truly loved to hear it. I wish I could have met him to tell him just how much he meant to the world, to his audience. I would've walked for miles to make him smile.

I never knew this site was here until now. Thanks for making this available. I was a young teenager, just starting to discover what kind of music I was “into”. INXS was just out, and I was blown away! They quickly became my favorite band. The music, Michael, WOW, he personified cool! The first concert I went to was INXS and we (my brother and I) squeezed our way up front. I wasn't able to hear for a day or two afterwards. What a showman, Michael was. I was devestated to hear of his passing when it happened. He is irreplacable, but his mark was definitely made and will remain. It is such a shame of how he went; why he would do that I don't know. I truly don't believe that he was unhappy; just trying something new or that he heard about; what a waste!!
I am still listening to these albums that I listened to when I was a kid. I still have the tapes in my car. That is all thanks to Michael...Your music will live on. Thank you INXS for the wonderful years of music.
INXS will never be the same without you Michael, I will forever miss you.
I worked in radio when INXS first made it big is the US. They were one of my favorite bands then and still are today. Michael was an amazing talent. I've never looked at death as an ending, but a transition to something better.

Michael hid nothing. He lived with reckless abandon. So sweet and so incredibly sensual. Like him, I believe we only go around once, and he has inspired me to savor every delicious second that I'm here. Peace.
I would just like to say that this is a very well organised tribute website to Michael. I wish he was still around so I could meet him but unfortunately I was only 8 when he passed away (16 now). I love listening to his songs from the 80s - they are really uplifting.

what a legend Michael was....what an awesome power he had. He was a man that everyone looked up to, adored and loved. How could such a person be taken from us all so suddenly and so heart wrenchingly? How i wish i could have met him just once...but i still remain hoepful that i will, perhaps not here but somewhere else...

I lived in Australia from 1986 - 1989 when Kick and X were very popular and have been rediscovering INXS lately. Upon review I wanted to know more about Michael Hutchence and came across this web site. What a wonderful tribute to a truly wonderful songwriter, singer and musician. I'm thoroughly enjoying listening to the tracks off of his solo album and am working on obtaining the entire CD so I can enjoy his music. No words can express the sorrow at losing someone you love at such a young age. Know that he lives on in his music and that people are enjoying the gift that he left behind, I know I am. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of seeing INXS and Michael perform shortly before his death in 1997. I was completely entranced by the energy that man gave off when he performed. I was deeply saddened when I had heard the news of his passing and realized the world had definitely lost one of it's greatest performers. I can say that Michael is a missed presence!
Michael, you were wonderful, and so full of energy. I will always remember and love you.
Michael Hutchence is always near my heart and his departure from this world has caused a hole in my heart. He weighed about next to nothing he was tall handsome talented kind and the embodiment of all good things perhaps if he had eaten more he would have felt better about himself i love you michael
