I was 14 when I got my first CD player. At the time, being from small town Oklahoma and a mildly sheltered country boy, I was completely musically illiterate. So when I went to buy my first CD I had no idea what to look for. Luckily, though, there was one box cover that caught my eye. It was of a huge arena filled with people with there hands in the air and this guy, who I had no clue about, on stage with his head and arms stretched back as if he were about to ascend into the clouds on the love of his fans. And I remember thinking anyone who has fans that can make him feel like that must be good. So I bought it. And I’ve been in love INXS music ever since.
I first saw the band at the Balga Pub many years ago. Michael was my crush all through the 80's. I was so saddened when I learned of his passing. God bless you and care for you, Michael

INXS..first saw MH at Apollo stadium in the inner western suberbs of Adelaide in a kick ass concert ! Small stadium with a big band and even a bigger front man. From then on INXS were the one thing ! Managed to see them play about 5 times every show bigger than the first adn MH the reason to go again and again...miss you man.
I GOT TO SEE INXS AT A CONCERT WHEN I WAS 16. I STILL LISTEN TO “KICK” EVERYDAY! MICHAEL WAS THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE BAND! HE IS MISSED.

I have been a long time Inxs fan, I loved Michael as a singer and proformer, he had a great voice. The band Inxs is such a uniqe band. They will live forever with Michael.
Michael had one of the most unique voices I have ever heard in my lifetime. He is unreplacable.

i have been an inxs fan for nearly 20yrs now, and i was totally devastated when hutch died, it took a long time for me to listen to inxs again, but i took the plunge and i am glad to hear their music again. i just wish michael was still here to continue on, he is deeply missed.

My admiration for Michael and his music started 15 years ago in South Africa, where I lived. It has never stopped and I think about his massive presence often.

Michael was an awsome singer. he and INXS defined, in my opinion, a style of music and made it great. we miss you michael....

Listening to michael has become a habit of mine. I listen to him everyday. When i'm eating breakfast, when i'm making my bed, when i get home from school and when i'm studying! i don't know why but his music really inspires me. He is my hero! I never met him but i believe that somehow by listening to his music we have met. Thank-you Michael for making me happy when i'm sad and for inspiring me so much!

i have only just finished reading some other peoples messages to michael and i am blowen away on what an impact he and INXS had on so many people. His family must be sooooo proud of him and what he gave to the world and how much people he didn't even know, love him even to this day. and even young children are learning about INXS which is just superb.they are a true legend of a band. thinking of him gone brings tears to my eyes and reading other messages also are great - but hurt. It is wonderful knowing that him and his dad are together again and watching all of us soak ourselves in INXS music forever.
