How sad that such a great talent gone..Its even more sorry that he must of felt so said. NO ONE will ever replace him. Even though we all know that life goes on, it will never be the same. INXS will never be INXS again.
When i first discovered INXS i was about 15, rebellious as hell and a hardcore heavy metal fan. But when I turned on MTV and saw that beautiful man, I became a fan. What a wonderful presence this man was. He oozed talent and sexuality. There can never be another like him. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. May his music live in through you and his wonderful friends, INXS.

I am thinking of your family this week and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Michael was a gift to music, to the stage and indeed to the world. How wonderful that through video and pictures and the uncomperable sound of his voice he will indeed live forever. I know this brings no comfort to those who grieve but I hope that you all find some comfort in the many positive ways he has touched livesa and through his music will continue to do so.
I discovered this website while searching for images of Michael to show to my children. I wanted them to see the talented, creative, and handsome man that I had the thrill and privelege of seeing in concert 18 years ago. Michael's legacy lives on in the re-kindled fascination of old fans, as well as the new fans he will gain now.
I just wanted to say Michael was a one of a kind performer & can never truly be replaced! It was a great loss to the music industry & the world when he passed, but I'm shore he's making beautiful music in heaven & doing his family proud. I have many fond memories with INXS & Michaels voice cemented in the background, & will always cherish those memories that he helped create! Thank you for bringing such a “Shining Star” into the world! God bless!

No one will ever compare to you because you have set the bar tooooo high back in the days when INXS got started. I miss you more than ever and it has been painful but yet bittersweet witnessing a new beginning with your band. I know they will always keep your memory alive by starting new. We all must get on with our lives no matter how hard it seems. I'm still sad but more angry at you for taking your life. I wish you waited till help arrived. I've been a true fan and will look forward to new beginnings as well

so many people are gone and disappear in the blink of an eye...only the rare and treasured are not forgotten. the music always manages to live on. thank god!

I still can't believe you're gone, Michael....I can remember the first time I heard you sing, and I heard the sound that was INXS....I've grieved, I've questioned....I'm now honoring your memory by raising my children on INXS, and your voice...and I know in my heart that you have touched the band with your spirit, to give them the strength to do what you would want...carry on the music. You're missed so much, it hurts sometimes. To Michael's family....His voice was the voice of my years of learning who I was. I hear it on the radio or I put in the cd today, and it takes me back, to no worries, no stress...just that feeling of happiness when you know the world is fully ahead of you, waiting for you to grab hold. Bless each one of you. And to Michael's parents...thank you for bringing such a beautiful soul into my life....

Absolutly a force in my life from the first note I heard to the moment I discovered his passing. A band, a voice and a presence that only comes with the greats that also seems inherently brief. I have too many fond memories to leave but I can say that none of them would exist without the help of INXS and Michael. Thank You from right here. Peace to all and prayers to those who are in need!

I had the pleasure to see INXS in their infancy in the early 80's in some pub that I think has been pulled down now! With bands like The Flowers(later calling themselves Icehouse) Midnight Oil, Dragon(RIP Marc Hunter), Mi-Sex(RIP Steve Gilpin) and who can forget Mental as Anything! Sydney ROCKED back then! Happy Summer Solstice Michael and keep smiling!

Upon watching “Live Baby Live” a flood of memories came rushing in like a tidal wave. Chills and awe once again watching and listening to a band and a man who will forever remain one of the best rock and roll bands of all times. Michael Hutchence had a talent that only few achieve. His voice makes anyone stop to listen and want to sing along. He will be forever missed, but will always remain in our hearts and souls. Thank you Michael for giving us your music.
