Michael will be remembered as one of my all time greatest singer/songwriter. his songs are as fresh today as they were when they were first released and have impacted my life for the better.

Dancing since age 4, Lyrics and music have always had an impact on my life . But no one had such a profound impact on me as Michael. His lyrics and passion for music truly helped shape my thoughts, dreams and character. I attended every concert nearby every year that INXS came here. His death was mourned for years in my home. Since I really only communicate through movement and cannot sing, when people want to get to know me I respond by saying “Listen to every song written by Michael Hutchence from INXS and then you will have an insight into my thoughts.” SO to his family, my deepest condolences that he is no longer physically present here....his spirit lives on.

Michael left a hole in the music world that will be impossible to fill. It is great that his songs are now getting a new airing that will help us remember what a truly talented artist he was. Eight years on, and still sadly missed.
Michael was so beautiful to listen to and to look at. I am so happy that his music will live on with a new voice. I will be a fan forever.
My dad and I used to listen to INXS all the time while I was growing up. One of the best groups of all time. It was a very sad day when we lost Michael no one could ever replace him. RIP

I have the fondest memories of signing INXS songs in a cover band in the late 80's early 90's. You touched my heart Micael, may your next life be as full good things too.

I heard “By My Side” the other day and began to think back to 1990 when I saw INXS live in Philadelphia. I realize that today, at 34, I was very lucky to witness the music of INXS then. Then I realized how sad I am that Michael Hutchence is gone. Just wanted to say, what a talent!

Been an INXS fan since 1985, and I just think they're the greatest band ever. I dread not ever seeing them in concert when Michael was here. People think I'm coo-coo but my vinyl INXS records are my most prized possesions.
Even though Mike's soul has left his body, his music still lives on in my heart. This is the only band besides the Ramones that I truely cared about. I had every vinil album, and my mom sold them behind my back shorty after the bad news that Mike had passed on. I was so devestated. I wrote more poems about Mike , which I will post one up as soon as I dig them out of my garage. I still miss you Mike. No one will ever have the voice, the voice with sex appeal that made you melt when you heard a song. What a legend.
