This is a beautiful idea,I didn't know this was here until now.
INXS introduced me to rock music back in my early teens. I saw Michael slinking about in his leathers in the need you tonight video & it blew my mind! I promptly went out, bought all the back catalogue of albums & I never looked back.
My one biggest regret in my life is that I never saw him sing live. I always thought “oh well, I'll see them next time”...if only I'd known there might not be a next time. I thought INXS (with Michael) would go on forever.
Thanks Michael for everything you gave us... I will always remember you with a smile. Be happy, you deserve it babe!

I was watching VH - 1 over the weekend and saw the LIVE BABY LIVE concert, it was fantastic. Michael was such an effortless performer, and so charasmatic. His aura and INXS songs will last forever.
Lovely Michael

“Original sin” was the first song that made me discover INXS.Since then I was the biggest fan ever. Michael certainly is one of the most beautiful male voices in history, really ! I couldn't understand what happened in Nov 97. All I have to say is RIP, Mike, you're the best and will always be!
For Tiger,
Happy Late Birthday Sweet Tiger Lily!
For Kelland,
Happy Late Birthday and Thank You for yoour talented son, Michael, and your other wonderful children.
For everyone else,
I started listening to INXS as soon as I heard Don't Change in 1982 I was hooked. I got the honor to see the X Factor tour and the Dirty Honeymoon tour. It was so great seeing the band live. Michael just oozed charisma and sensuality on the stage, and that VOICE that went right through you no matter where you sat in the concert stadium. I miss him terribly. But at the same time I am glad his 5 “brothers” are keeping the music alive.
Love You and until we Hear That Sound of your voice again Michael, RIP
Until we all meet and sing together as one,
Love and Peace,
Renee

I am only 14, and have only discovered INXS, but i think that Michael had an absolutly beautiful voice, and i wish i had discovered him before he passed away.
You are sorely missed by all Michael.
You are sorely missed by all Michael.
Michael Hutchence had a great presence and a voice that will always remain in our minds and hearts. He was truly a great soul taken from us much too soon. I only wish I had the opportunity to watch the he and band perform live. This is truly one of my regrets, that I never experienced Michael Hutchence and INXS. Who knows maybe one day I will hear his voice again... it would truly be an honor.
Rest in Peace Michael, you are sorely missed by all.

may you look down on all of us and know that nothing can ( TEAR US APART ) (the world ) ty 4 the good music Mike
Micheal, no matter what, you are Inxs. You touch my soul, I'll love you forever.
When Michael died I was only 9, therefore I don't have any exciting memories of him or the band. I really wish I had the chance to see them in concert but I guess the Live Baby Live video will have to do! He was undoubtedly an amazing singer with an unrivaled stage presence.
God bless Michael,

To the Hutchence family : Thank you for the love and the gift you gave the world . Michael has made us so very happy and continues to do so . I love his music and my children love his music . It is timeless . Thank you Mr. Hutchence for the effort and this memorial guest book which we the friends of INXS can stay in touch .
In 1997, we lost the greatest rock star that ever lived. The world is not the same without him....Rest In Peace Michael xxxxxxxxxxx
The music and voice of Inxs has been through my life every step of the way
Just saying that a great vocalist can never be replaced. MH was one of the true great vocalsts of our time and will never be forgotten. I know there is a lot of people who will agree on this. MH was one of a kind.
Thank you for sharing your amazing talents with the world. Your music will continue to touch lives for many years to come, and serve as a reminder of what a wonderful, gifted man you were. May god bless your family.
i just wanted to say that it is very sad that such a talented person has been lost.
i think he was a special person with great talent and certainly will not be forgotten.
the rockstar program has me torn - in one way it is good in that it is bringing attention to Michael's legacy, bringing new interest to the body of work he created with inxs...on the other hand i am disappointed that there is no mention of him on the show..even the theme song has his voice removed.
I found this site to be a very nice retreat to remember the man.
I feel bad for all those who knew Michael personally and loved him.

I grew up listening to “Black and White” from Shabooh Shabah in my car while in high school and wore out 2 cassette tapes I loved the beat so much. The sound of INXS' music is haunting and something that I often find myself humming away during the day. When I learned of Michael's passing in 1997, I felt an empty void in music that really hasn't been filled since. Thank you Michael for the great music you gave us.
Michael, you won't remember me, but I remember you...I was lucky enought to meet you and the guys back in '86 when you came to Newcastle to appear on a show called 'The Roxy'. It was filmed in the same studios where you first met Paula on 'The Tube'. I was surprised by how private and almost shy you were. I was sweet 16 at the time, and ll these years later you are still in my heart. God bless your little Tiger. x
i still listen to inxs cd's and watch the live baby live video and they always pick me up when i'm feeling low. thanks to michael and inxs. never forgotten.
INXS were part of my growing up from when I was 16 years old when my cousin gave me a tape of them that he'd got on a visit to Australia. I saw them twice in concert - amazing, the last time being at Wembley Stadium!
I still can't believe that Michael Hutchence has gone but his memory lives on with the music that we all still love!

I was a tremendous fan of INXS as a teenager. I remember being deeply shocked and saddened by the tragic death of Michael Hutchence. Needless to say, his legacy lives on in the spirit of people like me, who are also passing it on to their children.
why have you deprived us of your beauty and creativity.......u'll forvever be remembered and deeply missed but will live on forever with out a doubt
i am big fan of inxs for 20 year so sad at mike not of us i am fan of his music
