The very first time I heard INXS was when I listened to the Pretty in Pink Soundtrack (in 1986)& heard the song “Do Wot You Do”. Michael's voice sent shivers down my spine. I had never heard anyone sing like that before. Needless to say, I fell in love with him and the band. I bought every album they ever made and to this day that song is still one of my absolute favorites. Michael, You are truly missed!!

INXS AND MICHAEL WERE SUCH A HUGE PART OF MY LIFE. EVERY SONG,EVERY NOTE,AND EVERY MOVE WAS LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. I WENT TO SEE THEM IN NEW ORLEANS AND WE HAD FRONT ROW SEATS. I miss Michael very much I was so fortunate to meet him and the band in August 1986. I went to so many of his concerts after that. They are the ultimate band and will never be the same without Michael singing. I pray for him his daughter and his family everyday. He is very sadly missed. God Bless

it's been so long, but everytime i listen to him sing, i can still see him on stage, like that day never happened.....i still mourn and miss him very much...... millions of us did not know him as well as his family and friends....but he let us in, sharing his talents, and that is what we fell in love with.....and that is why we still love him....Michael was, and is, one of a kind......and NOONE will ever take his place in our hearts.....still crying, loving, listening, and keeping him in our thoughts.......LOVE YOU ALWAYS DEAREST......

Michael was such a presence. I remember driving in my car with my kids, and hearing the news of his death..my hand covered my mouth, and I started crying. How could this happen to someone so vital, and beautiful? It was just heartbreaking. I'm so happy to have found this sight..its wonderful. His music will always be in my heart..it symbolizes my youth, and I thank him for leaving it, and leaving me with joyous memories. I pray his spirit is free and happy.

Michael was a rare combination of intelligence, compassion, sex appeal and such raw talent. He made you feel he was singing just to you. His death was such a shock to many. I still miss him and I know others feel the same way.

Being one of many loyal INXS fans, I cannot express enough the impact that the loss of Michael still has. I admire the dedication the band has to fulfill their dreams and celebrate the wonderful music they have created now and with Michael. His vocals, stage presence and charisma is something special that can never be taught nor duplicated, but greatly admired and adored. I miss him.

I HAD THE JOY OF WORKING WITH MICHAEL ON THE LAST US TOUR AND WITHOUT A DOUBT MUST SAY THAT AFTER 22 YEARS OF TOURING I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A MORE WONDERFUL PERSON. I WAS IN LONDON ON ANOTHER TOUR WHEN I HEARD THE NEWS OF HIS TRAGIC DEMISE AND MUST SAY IT WAS HARD TO KEEP DOING MY JOB DURING THOSE FIRST FEW WEEKS. I AM BLESSED THAT I KNEW HIM EVEN IF ONLY FOR A BRIEF TIME. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU.

Michael was physically captivating. But then you were captured by humanism and caring lyrics and the incredible voice to that beat of INXS. Nobody ever looked better with curls and a jean jacket. Nobody ever sang prettier for the world. I hope your spirit is happy. I hope one day we see you sing before us. We're selfish and senses really need you. The stimulation to provide our own personal heavens.

I grew up a crazy INXS fan and just want anyone and everyone to know that a big void has yet to be filled. Watching the Rockstar show on TV just reminds me of how wonderful a performer Michael Hutchence was. No singers on that show are even close. Peace.
I had the great fortune to sing on stage with Michael during the Elegantly Wasted Tour. To this day, strangers recognize me the guy rockin with Micheal at the Park City,Utah concert. I couldn't think of a better person to share my 15 minutes of fame with. Thank You Michael for the memory of a lifetime
