I still remember that morning watching MTV and hearing about Michael. i spent the next few days clipping newspaper articles, watching the news etc etc, anything that had to do with Hutch. both he and Inxs was ahead of there time, he will always be the Jim Morrison of the 80's, to me.

I can still remember when I saw the news and they said INXS frontman found dead. I was about to go to school and it hit me so hard, honestly harder than I thought. I just got into INXS earlier that year, bought the new album and really loved it and couldn't wait to finally see them. Well, anyways, enough of that. I miss you Hutch, wherever you are.

Ian, thank you for letting us express ourselves. I feel Michael will always be here with us in spirit. His voice is on our records, videos, and cds. Michael touched me through his music and helped me in times I needed it. I wish I had known him as a personal friend - but I got to know a little of who he is through his friends, family, and fans. It has been 7 years already Michael. I was only in Kindergarden then now I in grade 6. I miss your talent and your beautiful voice and music. Today on the 22/11/2004 I hope you RIP forever.

Growing up in the 80's I had a few bands as the soundtrack to my youth, like U2, R.E.M. and of course, INXS. There's always an emotional connection to the songs, and to Michael's voice. There are a lot memories - some that were good, and some that were painful - but the music was always there, as if knowing my feelings and helping me along the way.

Creo que todo lo referente a Michael esta escrito aqui... No se que poner que mi corazón y el de miles de fans no lo hayan echo ya. Jamas me habia sentido tan cerca de expresar algo tan valioso en mi vida como su musica. Pero lo recuerdo mas como un hombre con el que me identifico, ya que detras de esa fuerte coraza existia un ser fragil que se dejo llevar por sus emociones. Era un ser humano como todos nosotros que tenia problemas, pero aun asi no dudo en ofrecerle al mundo lo que mejor sabia hacer... No puedo imaginar la musica actual sin su gran influencia. Su aportacion le dio lo posibilidad a miles de personas que anhelamos ser la mitad de fuertes, entregados y comprometidos de lo que el fue. No hay palabras para expresarlo... Solo la esperanza de algun día llegar lleguemos todos juntos como uno solo a ser mejores, para que cuando nos pregunten que nos impulsa, respondamos que fue alguien que ya no esta con nosotros...
