After almost 7 years it still takes my breath away when I see or hear Michael when I'm not expecting to. I happened across Frankenstein Unbound recently on TV - hadn't seen it for years. How I smiled when I saw Hutch camping it up as Percy Shelley! Then I realised the tears were there again. The feeling of loss is constantly hovering somewhere near the surface and the tears are only a heartbeat away most days. My youngest baby was born 17 days after Hutch died. They said it was the stress - she was 4 weeks early. She has an impish spirit and beautiful eyes. my eldest daughter was born early a few days after a concert of theirs in 1990 in London. Both my girls love him dearly still. AS I write this I am having to blink the tears away. It still hurts.
My love and thoughts are with Michael's family constantly. I hope to visit Aus one day and see his memorial.

I was always a fan of Michael and INXS and i felt a strange, inexplicable sense of emptiness when i heard he had left this life. I think his energy is still around. Through my collection of cd's, books etc i have recently been reconnecting to Michael. The other day i heard “Suicide Blonde” in 4 different shops when i went on a clothes shopping spree and then in some guy's car who drove past me!! Coincidence? Maybe. But i like to think it was Michael saying hello... Suicide Blonde was always a favourite! I miss your style, I miss your music, the nicest man who could be a very, naughty boy. Thank you for the influence you have had on me and i hope you are very, very happy where you are now xXx

Wonderful site... always liked Michael, and more and more have felt myself drawn to him - music and otherwise.
Hello, I'm a 43 year old homemaker. I couldn't listen to anything he sang for a whole year after he died. I would get so depressed and cry, wondering why and thinking how much he would miss and how much his family and fans would miss. I never met him personally or even went to a concert. But his songs, his voice, his great smile make me feel like he was one of my own family members. I still miss him but I listen to his music everyday now and it makes me happy to know he left us so much.
