Just wrote quite a bit about Michael and his untimely passing on my Xanga site where I try to bring some light to a sometimes dark world- espcecially for the young. I miss Michael terribly- his music with INXS and his solo album have helped me through some very rough times. Especially after my 'baby' sister took her life in 1994- she was only 35. My best to all of Michael's family, especially sweet 'Tiger', and all of his friends and fans who remain and hold a special place in their hearts for a very special and gifted man. Sucide leaves so many questions that can never be answered except by the victim- as a psychiatric nurse, people who take their own lives, in my opinion are not selfish, thoughtless people, they are very sick people who needed help desperately but never got it in time. That's the tragedy. We need to reach out to those who may not seem to be depressed or sad- it never hurts to ask. If you suspect something's wrong in somone's life, it probably is. Sorry to ramble on. Thank you for keeping this site intact- it's a very special 'place' for many people around the world. God bless.

I would like to make a suggestion, a simple way of celebrating Michael's birthday this year, something we can all do, how about buying a Happy Birthday helium balloon from a card shop or florist, tying a tag with our email address on it and seeing where they end up and if anyone will contact us. Spread the love we share here all around...

Michael will always be an inspiration to me. He is to me, still the last great 'front man.' I thank him for sharing his wonderful gift with us all.

Hello to everyone of you (Sonali, Alice, Caz, Michelle, Aidan, etc.) Happy new Year to all of you and the regulars! I have not entered the guest book since a long time, but believe me, I fight with myself not to do it so often so you cannot get bored of me. I think of you very often and of course I think and dream of The Loved One daily! Yesterday I watched my new Live Baby Live DVD alone, at home, very peacefully and I enjoyed it sooo much! Sorry, but I can't help getting hot at the sight of Michael dancing and singing in that particular way! and in the extra bonus track called 'Lately', I think the boys (INXS) and the producers did a good and beautiful job putting together the images in slow motion of Michael (mmm!!)Well, as you can see I love him soo much and always will, take care, I will write more on the message board so we can exchange some opinions about Michael and INXS's work. bye!!!

There's still too much to be said about Michael Hutchence.
In my adolescence, INXS was one of the bands I used to listen to. Michael's voice reminds me of the sweetest days in my life.
Through his music, a whole generation, has experienced a powerful heartbeat and very strong feelings which are saved deeply in our souls.

What to say that has not already said...hmmm...

With the loss of its lead singer, we all felt and still feel the pang of loss but I am willing to bet that the remaining members are stronger than ever.
I have survived the death of a boyfriend when I was young (Nicloas Trocchi, son of Scottish writter Alexander Trocchi) and I found healing and growth...but it all took a long time.

The intensly genuine talent what made the “band” is alive in the remaining members of INXS and in the music; past, present, and future.
Peace to all!

Is anyone out there going to or organising a celebration for Michael's Birthday this year? Would love to hear what people will be doing on 22nd January...

Myself, I want to try and have a get together, if not then I will release a Happy Birthday helium balloon into the sky and wish him peace and love...

Happy New Year. Love, as always, to Michael and his family and friends. I wonder if anyone noticed that Rob Thomas from Matchbox 20 has a song out called Bright Lights and there's a part in that song that, I sware, sounds just like Michael. It makes me think that maybe, somehow, his spirit came out through Rob Thomas in that moment. I know that seems weird. Perhaps it's the romantic in me. But, listen to that song. It's the part where he really gets into it and says something like, “Let that sinner take you in. Let that sinner spit you out..”

Take care everyone.

From the first time I seen the video and heard the song, “the one thing,” I always knew that this group was something fabulous. I was right. Michael's music and interpretation through his singing was always something that mezmorized you. When I purchased the music CD of Live Baby Live, I wished for years that it would come out on DVD. My wish came true this year. I couldn't be more estatic or pleased with the production of it. His voice or soul will never be reproduced. I just can't get enough of it. It is heartbreaking that he has been gone. God bless you and your family.

Sincerely,
Janet

Request INXS in the USA whenever possible to your radio stations. Whenever, maybe INXS will get over here and tour again. I'd really like to see them this summer! Would you?! Rest in Peace Mike. You'd be proud the show must go on, but YOU are truly missed. Never be the same without you, but we all carry on.

He was an Epitone of a Man! GOD made him so gorgeous! Needless to say with such great talent! Sex appeal leaking out of every breath, with every move, but with such child-like onerous. Yes it looks like he could be quite onery too. What a guy, what a Legend.... Miss you.

I first saw Michael live while I was in NY at college. To this day, I still feel his music and words as if he never left. I miss him terribly, and all the love and sensibilities he brought to this world.

I remember driving in my car and hearing on the radio that michael had been found dead. It came as such a shock. He was a gorgeous and talented man.I grew up on INXS. Everytime I hear one of his songs on the radio, I still get chills. His passing is a great loss to his loved ones and the music world.

I started listening to INXS about a month ago when I was wathching some old Prince music videos my dad made, and they came on after him. My mom was with me and she said to keep watching, so I did, and I fell in love. I love INXS. And I have a strange crush on Michael, though I'm only 15. He's so cute in that picture of him at my age. Anyway, I'm sorry about his death, and I wish he was still with us making awesome/beautiful music.
