Now aged 27, I first dicovered INXS and Michael aged 11 when Kick exploded in the UK. I remember my shock and disbelief that awful day in 1997 and even now find myself saddened by the tragic waste of such a beautiful and talented man.
Michael lives on in his legacy to his fans - his wonderful music.

Max Q. and his solo album
Everytime I hear him sing
I just can't believe he's
gone. It's a shame because all that talent was wasted.He was the greatest man who ever walked the planet. Anyways much love goes out to the hutchence family and tiger lily I hope positive things should happen in the future to make a brighter day.

I would like send my condolences to you - The last time I saw you was at the North Annandale Hotel, we shared your pizza together - the day before you lost your dad. The next day, I was so sad, knowing of your great loss. I do know how you must be feeling, I lost a baby son (in an accident)and a great man - my father.
I had a few drinks that night and I hope you did not misinterpret what I was talking about.
If you did then I apologise, you were once very kind to me, but it does not matter if you have forgotten about me, you were only 19 years old - (a baby). I would never, ever offend you, especially after what you have been through - TOO MUCH - I only know the good Rhett.

What a lovely tribute to a great man.I miss him so much and long for the music he would be making if he were alive today.I tried to see INXS live 2 times,but each time the show was canceled. I guess it just wasn't to be. I have a beautiful framed photo of Michael in my room and I look at it every day. He still inspires me.
Why does it still hurt so much to have you gone? Sometimes, I think about you, and I just cry. I never met you, I never saw a show...but I loved your music. I still can't believe you are gone...to this day, I still cannot believe it. I miss you...

It took me this long to find the courage to search for some Michael 's in memoriam sites. Yours is great though it hurts to look at pictures, especially intimate ones. I still cannot believe Michael is not alive anymore because ever since I first started listening to INXS (back in 1984), Michael has been part of my life, my growing up, and with INXS my musical sensitivity has been and still is fulfilled. I wish I could write a lot more because I do feel miserable knowing I will never see him live again, giving all he's got to make the crowd happy. Now, there is just Tigerlily and I hope she never forgets who her daddy was (as well as her grandad Kell) and how great a bloke he was and that she grows up looking just like him !

How embarassing is it when here in Australia after all these years, the newspapers still can't get Michael's birth place correct!! One would think the media need not be reminded and have access to (correct)reliable records for various important birthdates...not so!! On Michael's birthday this year(once again) the Telegraph stated that he was born in Perth???.. News to us!! Isn't it bad enough that the media are constantly mispelling and incorrectly quoting Tiger's birthday and name. It is so annoying that they “ALWAYS” have to mention the same old,false, pathetic and detailed suicide story (without fail) following any mention of Michael's name.Is this appropriate on his birthday ..?? Can they not once show some respect and say... what a Legend he was and how lucky and proud we are as Australians. Doesn't seem that way, as “whoever” appears in the news and knew Michael (even if the subject is completely irrelevant)it prompts these jerks to still re-hash all that “crap”...never miss!! Unfortunately, a majority of the public believe “everything” they read and are oblivious to the crap. When will the media wake up, realise and “print” positive true facts on Australia's biggest ever Legend??? ... and... ditch this constant negative defamation once and forall. We are all getting sick of it!! Just acknowledge Michael as Australia's very own Icon and Legend on his birthday and cut the crap. ...conobbi gli INXS per caso..ma rimasi ipnotizzata... Michael era un ragazzino...ricordo ancora le immagini di quel concerto.. qui a Roma ne parlai ma ancora non li conosceva nessuno..da allora non ho mai smesso di amare la loro passione e ogni volta che rivedevo Michael sorridevo pensando a come era cresciuto quell'adolescente visto qualche anno prima in tv...non posso credere ancora che....
