I saw Michael and the band in an airport in Mackay (Qld) after they started the Kick tour off their. The VIP lounge and most of the terminal was being refurbished so we all had to sit wherever we could. He sat right opposite me and smiled (after he'd “trounced” over to the chair) and I wish to this day I had the courage to say hello. Instead I stared gobsmacked. Being in my mid 20's I would have expected better...... I still miss him very much.

I have been a long time fan of Inxs. I remember going to night clubs in the 80's and dancing to Inxs. The only thing I regret was I never got o see Inxs in concert. Michael will live on always with his music. He will surely be missed.
I've always enjoyed INXS. It wasn't until recently I started listening to them heavily again. Memories flowed from the many earlier songs, but now when I listen to them, I think of all that has changed for the other INXS members and Michael's family. It is sad to know what was always so bright and beautiful is now less vibrant. I will continue to enjoy Michael's and INXS' music, and wish his family, friends, and INXS continued support and hope for the future.

I just learned with great sadness of the passing of Kell, It's so sad but yet it is nice to know that Michael now has some company with him. Will miss you Daddio!
I'm so sorry- such a great loss. The Lord saw a void in his beautiful flower garden and wanted to fill it with a flower so rare. Out of the millions and zillions of people in this world, he picked Michael. This thought eases my heartache and pain for Michael and for his family. Sorry to hear about Kell. He is with Michael now, and they're having a wonderful time together, just like the old days. To Mike and Kell's family, be strong, in time you will reunite again...one big happy family. My thoughts are with you.

i am missing Michael a lot and sure would like to talk to someone who feels the same. lotsa other stuff to talk about too, but it would be nice. people tend to forget how sensational he was and that hurts my heart a lot. i will never forget him.

I was at work at a night club when I heard of Michael's death 'did you hear some rock star's dead, Michael Hutchence I think' it hit me like a tonne of bricks. I'd been an INXS fan and particularly of Michael since about 1979 (I was about 15) back then INXS played in small pubs and clubs and up front you could make eye contact with him a lot. He had an awesome presence. I used to dream of knowing him - I still get very teary whenever I hear his music or watch him on TV. What a loss. God bless beautiful Tiger Lily 🙂 xx
