This is a Dedication to my friend Michael. I'm glad I was able to know you while you were here on Earth. He was the most kind person one could ever meet. I was there when Michael done the Elvis Tribute record. The video and pictures I took of him that day are incredible. I can still vision him there singing Baby Lets Play House as tired as he was. He told me that he wasn't feeling so good that day. I went out and bought him some pain pills. He thanked me over and over for the kind gesture. After words we both went out to eat at a cafe, to be with such a terrible headache like he had he still was so ever pleasant to me. I believe in that time period Michael was in the best shape and state of mind. His presence is missed greatly. I still today have video footage of that moment with Michael and I, and boy what a great cover of Elvis he did. Love ya Mikey!!! M. Morris

So often I'm visited by an angel,
With fire that sparkles in his soulful eyes.
A smile so mischievous and sensual
Like a thousand golden candles around him,
Who moves with a grace of a perfect dancer.
When he speaks I know for sure it's you sweet Michael,
Once again at my door
I heard the music of a thousand orchestras
you spoke to me and I felt I could touch you
Like reaching into the heavens and embracing a star
I felt you reach my very soul
You touched my heart with such a feeling - I cannot understand!!
The love I have for you remains unchanged
It is constantly renewed each and every day
The seasons are always changing, yet you are in them all
When winter comes I never know its frost and chill
Cause of my love for you
Summers warmth is within me still.
I walk miles along the beach always thinking of you
With the sand between my toes
Which makes each grain turn into a gem
And the ocean calls your name
It whispers all the beauty of you, sweet Hutch
Who just gave ever so much

I just wanted to express my sincere sympathy to Michael's family and friends on this very sad day. Here in Scotland it is still the 21st but I know that in Australia it is now 4 years to the day Michael left us. I feel privilaged to have seen him perform live with INXS in Glasgow during the summer of 1997, not long before his passing. Michael, your music lives on and you will never be forgotten.

For some reason, I've really not enjoyed celebrating anniverseries of any kind. So , rather than counting the years, since Micheal left us, I'm just going to do what I've always done, and think of him everyday!!

I never have the chance to see Michael in concert, but as long as I can hear his songs Michael will always touch my heart.
I always thought that Michael was a funny bloke, he liked to make you notice his humor. I know that I truley believe this site should pay more homeage to my relative Paula Yates. She was a very important Lady to Michael, I think instead of having just a post page for Michael, why don't you add Paula as well?? No need to be so remote to her! It is only fair to pay tribute to her as well, I feel that my deceased relative is not recoginized on this site, what a shame, it brings great tears to my eyes. R.I.P. Although I am posting this a day early, I wanted to let Kell and his family know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers on this sad anniversary. Please know that Michael's fans all over the world continue to light candles, listen to his music daily, watch him on video, and come together to share memories. Time may have passed and he may no longer be with us in the physical world, but Michael will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. Rest in peace Michael, and may your spirit always “Shine Like It Does”

As an Australian I feel particularly close to Michael. He is a legend of rock music and I'll never forget the 'Kick' tour. The atmosphere in the Melbourne Tennis Centre was unbelievable and I've never felt that at a concert before. Michael was genuinely special and will never be forgotten.

I really appreciated seeing the pictures. I have a few good ones from a 1986 concert in Seattle. And a few from when INXS were at the Hard Rock Cafe and the Jon Stewart show. Would you like me to email them? Is there a memorial place for Michael in Sydney? I was there two years ago and couldn't find anything.

Hi ya.. I was told to enter this site by a close friend of mine. I now see how this site has a very astranged feel to it. Several posts from people seem to have been edited. I pay my respects to Seven, I never knew Michael, and I work in the Buisness. I suppose Michael will be missed by alot, I can't say I never met him. Liam said rude gestures at him, but I'm sure he meant no hard feelings, at least that is what Noel said. It's my pleasure to come and look and I now see what my friend told me about this site.
