INXS was very inportant in my life. When I just heard Michael to sing,all of my problems seemd very far.After he died, I couldn't listen to him anymore,I felt he cheated me, and all, he was singing about was just a lie. But now I think I begin to understand him,(I know,I will never do)and I went back to him,and I will never forget him,and looking at this web site make me feel, he is still beetwen us,and he always will be.
Simply a beautiful site. I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers to Mr. Hutchence's family. Yes it has been several years since he has been gone but the ache of the passing of a family member lasts a lifetime. His creativity will live on through the music and his soul will live on through memories and his daughter.

I first heard INXS when I was a young teenageer and watching MTV whenever I could sneak in the time. I loved their music, their energy, and --in the way only a 15 year old girl can-- I loved Michael Hutchence. Even when I'd outgrown schoolgirl crushes, I still loved the band and Michael. I took all of their albums --and I had albums, then, not CDs or even cassette tapes-- with me to college. I saw them in concert. I turned all my room mates into fans. When he died, though he was a stranger to me, I felt as if a part of my innocence was gone with him. But I still listen to the albums --and now a CD or two-- and I know that he will live on in his music. His creativity helped me build a creativity of my own. I am grateful for his life.

A great site dedicated to an outstanding performer. Unfortunatly never meeting the real Michael, but his music is with the world for ever.
Since I was 13 I am a fan of Michael's. I am now 23 and I still remember how I loved what he did. I loved his perfect voice and the different moods he could express so well. And I still do! Sometimes when I listen to his music I can't imagine him being dead. So he must be alive in some way. I will always remember him.
I'll never forget the elation I felt the first time I saw Michael and Inxs play live. I was 14. It was my first concert and Ill remember it for the rest of my life. Michael was such a dynamic performer and his lyrics are an inspiration to me. Its a shame to lose such a talented person but I think his own lyrics say it best... “I just want to slide away and come alive again”. God Bless your soul Michael!

We chatted and hit it off well, we spent the night talking about the accomplishments and success of the band. I told stories and favourites that I liked from current in 97, elegantly wasted. Building bridges, just a man anyway . I can't tell you what he and Tim and Jon and Kirk and Andrew , Garry did for me that night. They touched my heart. Miss your fantastic voice Micheal. Hello!!! I'm currently 16, & I just saw a re-run of Saturday Night Live with INXS as the musical guest. When I was younger, I absolutely loved them, especially Michael. My dad even made me a tape of INXS music videos, interviews, everything. I pretty much grew up & didn't even think of the band I loved as a child much. Then I was watching something on tv, & saw a special which sparked my interest in them. I found out that Michael had passed on, & was actually quite shocked & upset. But, even if he is gone, he is still a part of me, for I grew up with his voice in my mind.
I've been an INXS' fan since 1981. And I miss Michael so very much. Finding this site has given me a new courage. Thanks to his family for such meritorious tribute.
I miss him so so so so much..I love this site,I love to see everyday people from all over the world have warms words about him.It helps a lot.
