When I was younger I never really liked music. I sort of liked the music my mum liked (I guess I thought I would like the same as she did). Then one day, after playing out with friends, I came to the kitchen of our house and spotted a video on the tv (Need You Tonight)and that was it. I loved them.

I finally got the Kick album just after INXS had toured the UK (I was gutted to have missed them), but I saw them eventually in the X tour. I cried when they finished. I was so happy. I also saw them on Get Out Of The House tour (on my birthday), in Sheffield in a tiny venue. In the song Mystify I was sitting on someone's shoulders and he sang part of the song at me. I felt like the only girl in the world that he had ever sang at.

When he died I was gutted. I'd never met him, but he had touched me with his songs. I cannot listen to INXS's music without thinking of him and getting a lump in my throat. I still miss him.

Also, the death of Paula Yates has brought me sadness. I thought she was cool and felt bad for her when Michael died. May they be together in heaven now. My thoughts are foremost with Tiger Lily and also Paula's other children.

When someone close to me passed on my mother gave me a book by Rita Rogers called From One World to Another. It was a wonderful book to read when you are feeling pain, it gives you the hope & strength you need to believe that person is not far away. I am sure Michael & Paula will oversee Tigers future together.

Dear Mr Hutchence and the family & friends of Paula & Michael,

I strongly believe in the after life and I know Michael & Paula are now together. Many people did not approve of Paula's ways but one thing as for sure, she was a good mother. That is what shocks me about her leaving Tiger. It proves that the love she felt for Michael was beyond our comprehension. I just want to scoop little Tiger up into my arms and cuddle her. I do hope this will enable Kel to have contact again with little Tiger. She is such a beautiful child and needs the love of a blood relative to give her comfort. I imagine Belinda Brewin will be her guardian so I hope that in her heart she will allow contact with the Hutchence family.

My thoughts are with you all and we are all feeling your pain.

I'm very sorry to say i had never heard of your son until i read about the death of Paula Yates. I would like to comment on the beautiful Memorial Website you created for your son. I was in tears,throughout it. Your son must have been a very special person.

I hope his little daughter will be allowed to grow up with people that really love her and care for her. that's all she has left now.

I was so sorry to hear of the death of Paula Yates. I was also so sad and shocked when Michael Hutchence passed away. It is so sad that their baby has lost both of her parents at such a tender young age. I hope that sweet little Tiger Lily can be with you soon. She is in my prayers.

I wrote my message before I read the guestbook....My original messaage is below, and I feel it's not enough, so if you'll indulge me further....

Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates produced a true angel. Please let her be with her Grandad in her greatest time of need. Nowhere would she be as loved and safe as in Australia, with family, and a nation of friends she is yet to meet. Tiger deserves the most “normal” of upbringings that it is possible to provide for her.

Sincere sympathies to all that loved Paula, especially her children.
