I love INXS.

The rock world loat a legend ten years ago - Michael had charisma, soul and a voice that rightfully earned him many hit singles.

I met the man in 1991 during INXS's Live Baby Live tour, and he was a great guy to talk to and a pleasure to be with.

RIP Michael - they always say the good die young.

It has taken me this long to post something in memorium of Hutch being gone for 10 long years..it seems only yesterday I was watching him strut the stage and then the news hit on MTV..I happened to be watching when it broke...that he had left..I still remember that feeling...Michael will always live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the words of his song...he was a gift to our times and may he finally have found peace...

Michael was a huge part of my life all though the 1980s. His group to this day made me feel great in good and bad times. It was my favorite group then before Michael died. His replacement does nothing great for the rest of the band. He will be missed by me and the rest of the people who knew what great music was.

It has taken me a week to do this as I could not bring myself to look at the site, photos, interviews etc on Michael's death.

I love dhim sooooooo much and used to find it weird to love someone you never met but now I know it is possible and it's not weird at all.
Micael was my first love and i will never forget him!

Dearest Michael,
Thinking of you and wishing you and your loved ones peace. I said a prayer for you and your family on Thanksgiving Day. It's so surreal to me that ten years have passed. You are so loved and so missed. We celebrate your life through your words and music. Love to you Michael.
XOXO Andrea

i first heard of Michael when i was a little girl. now that i have grown up and become really fond of their music, it breaks my heart everytime because i miss Michael everyday. he has created a legacy in his music and to me he is a very compassionate and giving person. Michael you were taken away from the worl wat to early. everyday that pasess, i wish you were still here to be there for your baby girl Tiger and to create many more musical hits. but i guess your new audience is God and his angels coz there no place else you would be.
you are terribly missed Michael Kelland Hutchence. xxxx

I have always been a huge fan of INXS and the work that Michael did in his solo career. Specifically, the song “Rooms for the Memory.” In the movie, he knelt down on and sang the somg over his girl's grave. It was one of the most moving images you could see. I found it so odd when he died. Such a beautiful and talented person. In love and with a family. As a parent today, I have been a fan since I was 16, I wish he could have found the strength to push on. We all miss his art and passion. I wish that in this case, life had not immitated art.

Hy are u folks? I'm 26 today but my age never was a trouble to feel what really was the 80's. People like Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Level 42, MJJ and so on, help me to survive on this ''soulless world'' of nowadays songs. Another guy that suport me a lot is you Michael, wherever you are. ''New Sensation'' is the best for me, make me happy and gime power to break the everyday limits. Sometime, I'm so sad cause I wasn't born at least in 1970. This way, I could feel better yours and the other singers real power. See u soon and God bless u Michael, you parents, relatives, friends and eternal fans.

Or does it make you cry
Use your imagination
And start a fire

Making changes go round
Hear that sound”

I watched the Live Baby Live concert (1991)on TV last night & then the documentary about Michael afterwards. I forgot what an influence he was on me when I was younger and how much I loved INXS. I will never be able to listen to “Never Tear Us Apart” without shedding tears. Is it wrong to still feel sad for the loss of this great man.
There will never be another Michael thats for sure. I really do hope there is an after-life cause he certainly wasnt finished in this one!
Peace be with you my friend!!
You will always be missed but we have your music always!!XXXX

INXS have been without doubt the penultimate Australian band and to this day their music still leaves other bands in there wake. Michael was the most charismatic frontman I had ever seen and his stage presence still haunts me today every time I see an INXS film clip on TV or watch my numerous INXS videos I have collected over the years. Since I was 11 and bought Shabooh Shoobah I was hooked, and the band has been at the top of my music collection ever since. Now they hold preference on my Ipod and my 13 year old daughter also has my INXS cd's on hers. Their music has entertained me throughout my life and there is not a day that goes by without at least one or two songs getting a spin to help me through my monotonous and boring job on the road each day. 10 years ago my idol passed away, but his music lives on, as it always will.

RIP MICHAEL

Adrian
