i founded inxs by a chance listen a few years ago..! And i have to say the music INXS created is my music! Michael was a true entertainer, and he had such passion for what he did.. i have just purchased Michaels solo albums.. and WOW! your name will live on, and so will your voice!!

I just recently bought the music videos of INXS. I knew a few songs, but never really knew much about INXS as I do now. I listen to the music all the time. I watch the videos quite frequently. I would just like to express how the members of the band are extremly tallented. I hope to get to see them in concert this year. I would also like to express how Michael Hutchence was a wonderful artist. As I watch the videos I can feel his spirit. I think that Michael was a beautiful man. I know his family misses him deeply. I grew up listening to INXS, my favorite video was “The One Thing” he looked beautiful and his voice was great. I bought all their albums. I love their music.When I had heard Michael passed away I cried because I couldn't believe such a brillant and beautiful person had passed away. I cherish my albums and always listen to them remembering. Thank you for the beautiful website to give people insight to a beautiful and wonderful person.
michael was such a very talented singer,and performer. I will always remember him as the front man of inxs. I hope his family is doing well and I pray they will be able to feel at peace. I love you michael.

I went through my twenties into my thirties during the 1980's. INXS was at the height of their fame. I lost touch with the band as time went on. Then I heard of Michael Hutchence's passing in 1997. I was as shocked as the rest of the world! I knew how talented a person he was ( still is).
I picked up some cassetts of INXS in the 90's, specifically “ Full Moon / Dirty Hearts”, and “ Elegantly Wasted”. I was blown away with these two releases by the band! I think ( contrary to critics and many fans alike), that these are by far INXS at the height of their musical maturity and creativity. Am I the only one who thinks Full Moon... is a fantastic record?
Yeah, Rock Star got me looking into the band again. I have picked up almost all of their releases from INXS in 1980, to E. Wasted in 1997. The DVD , Best of INXS - I'm only looking shows some absolutely fabulous performances by Michael Hutchence. He has the most powerful and moving voices in R & R history.
His live performance of Searching at the Australian ARIA awards is a spirited, powerful, and emotional display of a sensitive and struggling persona. Music has lost a great talent in the passing of Michael Hutchence. INXS lost the ultimate frontman and the their major lyricist to their band. They can move on , that is great for them. But Switch shows that without the writing talent of M.H., they can never be what they were, I suppose they are not trying to be.
What I can relate to, is the tortured complexity of the man. How he conveyed that truth at times through his music. and performance. He didn 't just sing about Sex. Drugs. and R&R. He sang about love , hope, despaire, and the myriad coplexities of the human spirit. What an awesome talent, what a gentle man.
Michael Hutchence has definately moved and inspired me. He has touched my life. Thank you Michael. God Bless You.

Hi Mike . For some reason today, I've been thinking about you a lot. Probably because the club I was in on Tuesday night played a couple of INXS songs !! The place was kicking mate !! Anyway, just wanted to say hi and let you know, your music (and spirit) is alive and well in Ireland !!

I just finished reading INXS story to story and i am happy to feel i know Michael better.He and INXS were a big influence on me in the 80's. I matured to the words Michael wrote. I am 46 yrs old and i'll never forget him and have to wonder as i finished the book and put on one of my INXS albums if he isn't smiling down from heaven knowing his words and music live on.Gods Blessing to his family.

November 22 should not be a sad day for any one, we should remember that day as a happy day. even thought its been 9 yrs. since Dear Michael Departed from us so saddly. we should just be happy and thankful for all the good memories he has given us. even though i'm only 12 and never knew Michael like Any of the other fans i still have the records(cds) and memorbilia. REST IN PEACE MICHAEL!

Michael, I miss you so much even if I didn't know you persenoly. Everyone has always said that you are one of the most kindest person they've met. I just wish I could've met you before you left. I just wish I started liking INXS earlier. Because I barely turned 14 & I've been listening since I was about 12. But at least I got to like INXS and know who you are.

I feel that being a true fan of yours that they were a big part of your life and it is a way to stay connected to you spiritually I'm sure you appreciated seeing the huge poster I made with your name in a big red heart along with the other members of your band. They all saw it smiled and gave me the thumbs up.... This Monday I've been to U2's concert, the first one in my life. I was wearing my INXS t-shirt, hoping they would play STuck in a Moment- and they did. It touched me such a way, and I couldnt help crying. I looked up to the sky, all my thoughts on Michael- million thoughts in one head, in few seconds. I couldnt find him in the clean sky where there was no cloud or star, but I did find him in Bono's voice, in the crowd who sang loadly and specialy somewhere into myself.
I din't cry with sadness... I cried happy to remember Mike and to think he was as great as we all were that night.

Yesterday I was listening to one of your songs, I had necessity to visit your site and write these few words to say I miss you Michael and your music!
