I will never forget Michael and his presence as a front man...He dignifies my all time top 5 of a lifetime!!! I used to be on the road with the band, as my X boyfriend was Bobby Daniels who did the sound for INXS...Monitors...we toured with INXS and I had the wonderful chance to stand onstage just over to the side while Bobby mixed the sound at the soundboard and I watched 300,000 peoples faces from the stage at the US festival embrace the band, as one of their first appearances in 1984 on such a large scale...Michaels lyrics were always the keys and notes to my heart and to my very soul...and I thank him and God for putting him on the planet the same time as I am!!! I am Profoundly changed by his music and his very positive, exactingly curious, keenly sharp acutely passionate life! God Bless You always Michael and I know He does!!!He knows the truth of who you are and why...

INXS had a big impact on me as a child growning up during the MTV era. The first videos I saw from INXS were “Devil Inside”, and “Need You Tonight”. Which to me are still two of the greatest songs, and videos ever made period. Plus Michael Hutchence and the rest of the band are one of the first groups who got me into music more than ever, and made me think he maybe I should get a band together. Also every time I saw new video of theirs I just kept thinking these guys will be around forever will dominate the whole world and only keep getting bigger. I also thought there was no way they wouldn't get inducted into the rock 'n' roll hall of fame before the standard time a band had to be around for. Every interview I saw with Michael just made me think hey this guy is the kind of guy you could go up to after a concert sit down and talk with about everyday things with, then give a hug to and say goodbye. real down to earth and not just him but the entire band seems that way. When I heard of Michael's death it was actually the first time I shed tears for a celebirty not just because it was a tragic death of a star/celebirty. But because I had listen to their music for many years and many of the songs helped me through difficult periods in my life. I also thought wow there won't be anymore INXS or music from INXS ever again that hit me really hard. But you know we will see him again someday when we go to what ever is after life and he will be waiting there saying what took everyone so long....

I have honestly felt like I was Michael's biggest fan. Crazy or what? When Michael passed, my phone rang at least 15 times from friends around the US saying...'Did you hear?'...'Are you OK?'....That is because my friends knew that Michael and INXS music, has really gotten under my skin. I am 37 and became Michael's 'greatist' tan back in 1987 when I saw INXS play in Santa Barbara at a very small theater. I will never forget running down to the front of the concert getting in the front row and hearing the many songs from the early albums...The one thing was playing as I was running down towards the band with a my dear friend Sonya..........From that moment on, I was sold. Everytime INXS played in the SB or LA area, I made the time and was front row center.....

I really was so deeply saddened by his death in 97 and I still feel the loss. As the band appears to be moving on, it almost brings the saddness of hte loss back.....Does that make sense?

I have 2 small children of my own and I think of his little girl who must be close to 10 now. How sad for her that she will really not know her father. I hope that her family will make certain that she learns about him and feels his energy.

I have never written any remarks on a website before but for whatever reason, I feel compelled to do so. I guess it is all this hype about the the band. It makes me sad. What can I say.....

My best to the family and friends of MIchael.....

I LOOOOOVE INXS and Michael Hutchence! What fantastic talent. So sad to see Michael pass away. Gone too soon... we all miss him. No singer to lead INXS will EVER compare.

The news of Michael's death was announced on the day that I went on my first date with the man who is now my husband. It was a very sad way to start a relationship, yet we bonded over our shock and grief at Michael's death and our love of INXS--something we still share to this day. Whenever I want to remember Michael, I pull out the “Live Baby Live” performance, especially that happy, excited look on his face when the band first takes the stage on “Guns in the Sky.” Rest in Peace, Michael.

When I first heard “Don't Change” I knew right away that I wanted to write songs and be in a band, Michael's voice and lyrics spoke to me and hypnotized me...I saw INXS perform at the Miami Arena for the Kick tour, they were on top of the world...and for those 2 hours of explosive performance, I was right up there with them.

Michael will live in our hearts forever through his music.

peace

I have enjoyed the voice of Michael Hutchence for over 15 years but unfortunately I have only seen the band in concert once. I still remember the day that my friend called to tell me Michael passed away; I was crushed. When I think of him and INXS it brings back many good memories in my life; places I have been, people I once knew. So, thank you Michael.

Michael, you are one-in-a-million and can never be replaced! You are so missed and I, along with so many, to this day, cannot believe you are no longer on this Earth. You touched so many, so deeply! I still greive when I hear an INXS song, but smile all the while thinking about the good times. Thank you for your gift, if only so brief we had to witness. God bless you Michael Hutchence!

After Michael passed, I felt he took a part of me with him, a piece of history, a chapter had turned, and I cried over someone's absence for the first time in my life, someone I had never even met personally, although I'd seen INXS several times live over the years. He commanded the stage and worked the crowd like no other, there will never be another one that even comes close. Shine on Michael Hutchence, even in spirit. You've brought joy to millions around the world. Thanks for the beautiful memories, mate.
