My review of 'Live Baby Live'
Few words can really describe the awesome spectacle that took over Wembley Stadium. Such an event rarely shakes the ground beneath it, but the sea of 72,000 people on that legendary day registered big time on the Richter scale. INXS who headlined the gig took control that night and delivered an unbeatable live performance right from the hard hitting “Guns in the sky” through to the magnificent “Devil Inside”. Michael Hutchence, lead singer, captured his audience and effortlessly sang and danced his way through all of the 22 songs that exploded from the stage. Here INXS could do no wrong, “Suicide Blonde” whipped up a frenzy of excitement in the crowd that rocked with controlled devastation. During “What you need”, Michael Hutchence points his mic and announces to the crowd “we gonna get you all singing tonight ! “And that audience gave something magical back and sing they do. It's truly an awesome experience to watch a man in action that can literally hold an entire audience in his hand. It's certainly something of an achievement for INXS who have fought consistently and passionately to be accepted in the UK. This spectacular performance and execution of songs has reinforced that the band can rise to the challenge. This concert will no doubt go down in history as one of INXS' best concerts ever and one could also argue as one of the greatest concerts of all time.
There will never be anything like it again.

Will always remember Michael, excellent vocals....TOPS!
The band came around during a very influental time in my life and I was able to see them a half dozen times, from clubs to huge venues and even had a chance to meet them once. All of them are brilliant guys. They took time to shake hands, say hello. they didnt have to, I knew they were busy and tired from months on the road. Anyone who met Michael knew he had a presence, something most people dont have. When ever I hear an INXS song now it takes me away like no other band to a place of happy times, when I didnt have the worries of job and family on my shoulders. Would I go back if I could? I do, everytime I hear him sing!
Was würde ich für eine neue INXS CD mit Michaels Stimme geben...
Er ist und bleibt der Größte !!!

Your birthday is coming soon and I only want to tell you that you are not forgotten, your spark, talent and voice are always with us, the people who admired you and your music. The world needs more men like you, we miss you man!!
Happy birthday Michael wherever you are

Even though it has been quite a few years now that Michael has been gone i still have great sadness in my heart for what happened. Every time I listen to his voice I can't help thinking of how I wish so much that he was still here. He had such a wonderful talent and I just wish that he could have been helped with what he was dealing with inside. He is a very great loss and he will always be missed.
I still can not believe that Michael is death, is simply unbelievable!!
He was a talented singer. He had more to give to the world. His memory will always be in my mind.
INXS el mejor grupo del mundo y Michael el mejor cantante de todos los tiempos.

Three great men went to the other side on 22 November - JFK, Michael Hutchence and my father. All have a special place in my life.

Never saw you live.. enjoying all concert footage i can get my hands on. Timeless music. Happy Birthday Mike! ! !
They could never tear us apart.
I just saw your son's performance of “Searching” live on that “I'm Only Looking” DVD. It's so incredibly moving, so beautiful, the man was really a sensation; and it is so tragic to watch that video, because you can see he's just so full of life and love, and it breaks my heart that you don't have him here today. I lost 2 loved ones this year, and it just feels like the world can't hold anymore hurt without bursting. I played that segment of the video probably 50 times, and am glad it was catpured at least... I'm sure there are 1000's of great moments that were never captured except by those who saw it live in the moment. Sir, if you haven't seen it (you must have), then you gotta see it. It is amazing, one of the greatest performances I've seen of anyone anywhere, from opera to rock to jazz standards.
Anyway, my heart is broken for you, Mr. Hutchence, and your family. I hope there's something after this life. Jim Morrison, who's work I think your son must have liked at least a little, said, “We live, we die, and death not ends it”. I hope so.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family and wishes that you'll all meet again (not too soon though!), in that better place.

i hated the day “inxs is dead.” what was going so wrong? You had the world by the balls. i also suffer from a severe case of depression. But i'll be god damned if i am going to give up the breathe of everyday to something that wants to control me. you a sadly missed by so many, including myself. i hope were ever you may be that you are free from the madness and pain that held your heart and brain hostage. i might not see you, but i hear you in my heart JJCII
GRACIAS POR TANTO TALENTO Y POR HACERME SENTIR TAN PLENO CON TU MUSICA. HASTA PRONTO!

Mr. Hutchence,
God bless you sir. Thank you sir on this day for the gift of your son to all of us musicians and honestly fans. Twelve years ago the first song I ever sang live at a rock show (i.e. outside of church choir) was “The One Thing”. We also in a six song set covered “Never Tear Us Apart”. I miss Michael as though I knew him and want to thank you Mr. Hutchence for raising such an incredible man. He lives on in momory here. Chris Jones of the band Montage
