This evening I saw Kylie's “startrack” on MTV-about Kylie's music career.
I've seen it before,but not the whole version.Sure she said several words about Mike.When they asked her about his death,she said it's still shock for her-to hear “Michael is gone”.And she told that when they were together,during her first show he was standing behind the scenes,looking at her,singing with her and beeing SO happy she is on the stage!He was SO glad with her success.And she said that nowadays before every show,she remembering that moment,cause it was great time..Michael always was so sincere in his feelings,full of love to his friends..I'm sure,everyone who knew Mike personally..I mean his friends,they are grateful to their destiny for giving them such great possibility-personal contact with really good light gifted man. And I think, this phrase - “love&peace” -used by him after gig,it was his motto for life, and anyway he tried to fill the reality with love and peace.If everybody could understand that peace and love are much better,then violence and war, this life would just be so easy” Miss you..

I just wanted to let you know what a moving and beautiful tribute to Michael I feel this site is. I discovered INXS in the Listen Like Thieves era and their music was the soundtrack of my youth - it still is. Just been listening to the Max Q album which I originally had in 89, lost and was recently able to replace. I always loved that album, but I think it's only now, with a few more years lived that I appreciate the significance of the statements it made, both about the price of fame and the nature of western society. Michael's lyrics had uncanny foresight into the culture of fear, consumerism and corporate greed that seems to be taking over our lives - freedom in golden cages. He was a true humanitarian and I only hope - especially in the midst of the Iraqi conflict - that a few more people in this world could embrace the values he had the courage, love and wisdom to embody. With sincere respect.

God bless everyone on this wonderful site. It gives so much joy to peoples hearts to read everyones tribute to one of the worlds most talented singers. Thank you to his family and freinds for letting us share his memory with you. Angie S.

i am just listening to welcome to whereever you are and thought i would say how perfect it is how is it some one can sing like this and have these songs theres just so many why is it not known by the world of how inxs made music perfect. michael was right on viking juice it was the end of rock n roll when he pass on but there might be no more to come but we still have these songs and they will never go away

I'm quite surprised I even did a search for this...I'm feeling quite down after looking up some stuff about a medical condition I have and decided to cheer myself up before going to bed...looking at this site has reminded me of how excited I felt to hear Michael's voice, and how when I was younger I used to pause the video tape at certain points, and replay - and be able to quote - parts of interviews etc. I don't pretend at all to have known him - but my thoughts are really with those who did. I am sure, through my own bereavement experience, you take heart and strength from your memories.

we r so sad that micheal is not here anymore but he will live on in his music with inxs my mum is the biggist fan of him and i like to thank him for makin me love music i remeber my mum puttin on inxs everyday and now i know every word to all there albums no one can ever take his place at all he was made for that group u could tell 72.0000 people at wembley stadium in 91!

appreciated his songwriting talents. I still ache when i hear his voice.
