when i turned 12 yrs old , i heard inxs and instantly fell in love! I am and have always been a music freak, 18 yrs later i'm a 30 yr old man and still live inxs. I've seen them 5 times took pictures, got autographs, and lived inxs everyday for all this time. the day of michael's passing i was at work and heard it from another co-worker who just came in, i didn't believe him ,so i listened to the radio to find that it was true. i cried like you wouldn't believe. my fiance came home to find me drinking on the front step in a pool of tears. inxs brought me so many good times and childhood/adult memories, i couldn't believe there would be no more. i still live inxs-ive everyday, and michael, you were a great part of my everyday life and you are missed the same today as that tragic day that brought me to tears. thank you for all the wonderful memories. i hope you have everlasting peace. and to all family, fans, and band mates, you are all a part of my family....god bless

INXS has been 1 of my favorits bands of the 80's now 20 years later i just bought the INXS 1979-1997 Tribute cd and let me tell you INXS still rocks. Michael's vocals just run thru you, god bless his mom and dad that he was born.
this site is great. Your son is beautiful!

Did'nt know to much about Michael other then that I loved his music. My hubby and I went last summer to see Inxs twice. I know nobody can replace Michael, but I did feel his presence, and I think he would be very proud of the band to carry on. one day I was bored and decided to look at the Australian death index and typed in Michael hutchence, too my surprise, he had died that day. I then ordered,“Just A Man”, it arrived at my home on his birthday. I don't believe in weird stuff, but I do believe in God and angels, and I know Michael is with his family and having fun with his fans! To Tina, Patricia, Rhett and beautiful Tiger...You are such a wonderful, loving and strong family, don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise( I might have to kick there butts, lol) Love ya all and peace.

Hello, everyone at Michael's website! I am delighted as usual to read to many beautiful messages for our dear Michael. But this time this is a message for Mr. and Mrs. Ferrari and the other persons involved in this proyect of this site. Maybe also with a little luck Rhett or Tina Hutchence could help me? I want desperately to buy the DVD of “Live baby, Live” but here in Mexico I think the edition was limited or never came to Mexico at all? Pleaaseee! tell me where can I buy it? any of the fans maybe, can buy it and send it to me? I'll pay of course. I'd really appreciate yr help because I want to buy (one thing at a time) also the movies “Dogs in space” and “Frankenstein unbound”, Max Q cd.

Last night I popped “Live Baby Live” (Wembley Stadium) into the old DVD player. It's incredible how time has not taken the edge off this truly fantastic performance - Michael, a man of my own generation, how few there are!

Michael was the biggest influence on my life. I am still missing him but I suppose we just have to be grateful that he was here in the first place? Thank you Michael.

I am still feeling the sadness of Michael's passing.Even 5 years later. The music of Inxs music(and Hutch's lyrics, and vocal delivery)will not be forgotten. This band stood out,and constantly made incredibley moving music.Michael's voice, was like no one else.As time goes by I hope the music public discovers what a great(underrated) lyricist that Michael brought to the music of Inxs. Please buy 1992's welcome to wherever you are.One of the best cd's ever made, and one of the most FORGOTTEN pieces of music I've ever heard, including the 3,000 cd's that I own.I was lucky to see the band on September 14 in d.c,not knowing the tragedy that awaited.God bless ya Hutch. You are not forgotten.

i often come and read the beautiful memories people have because of michael but today i had to write and say thank you to the 'care takers'
of this wonderful site.

I read with horror at what someone had left as a message....the longer i thought about it the more upset i got
and i had a few things to get off my chest by the time i got back to do it the offensive message was gone..so thankyou to the 'carers'
you do an awesome job of keeping the site updated and beautiful
much love to the family
and friends of michael
with a special mention to Michaels 'minime' Tiger xxxx

I love to listen to Michaels solo album. every time i hear it, its like hearing it for the first time you cant get bored of it and then it ends with Slide away which i believe is the greatest song there is and it has two super stars in it with to perfect voices, every time you hear that song you cant decide if you want to cry just michael is gone or be happy cause its such a great song to hear, its so great that bono sang in that song for Mchael to finish it for him, i thank you Bono for that. i will always be your fan Michael no matter wat happens in the world.

Surfers and INXS sort of went together in the 80's. Michael and INXS were a part of every surf trip that me and my friends took as kids and college students. Now. I'm grown up and have kids of my own. Still go on surf trips to Mexico and Costa Rica, it's a little different now, but I always have “The Swing” with me. When Michael died, so did my youth, and my dreams of immortality. I realized then how real and cruel the world could be. However, when I listen to anyhting by INXS, especially the early works, it brings me back to a better time and better place. A place of carefree youth. Without a mortgage, car payment, real job,or heath concerns. Just a dude and his board. Surfing during the day, listening to KICK at night. RIP Mike, and thanks for the memories.
