I have alway been a fan of inxs every album I have bought has been fantastic but noonewill be ableto replace Michael in every sense he had such a distinctive voice. Beautiful Princess of The Sky Heavenly Hirrani Tiger Lily)is absolutely beautiful she takes after her father.

I hope you remember me from Hong Kong living over the road in the block of flats at Ede Road, across from your back door to your house overlooking the park. I still can't believe Michael has gone, it was such a shock after just seeing him with the band playing in Birmingham, he took me and my wife out for a meal with the band and we had a great time, i'll never forget seeing him again after 20 odd years. How is Rhett, please ask him to write to me at my address, and , oh, those days of trying to get through that back gate past your amah, her name was Ah Ping, please write back, and take care, Andy .

What a Tradgedy someone so gifted to enjoy life felt the need to escape it so young.The near same situation as Jim Morrison.
I'll admit I came across this site by accident, though I am extremely moved by the words and efforts of Kelland Hutchence. I've now read every article within the site and must say it's a beautiful tribute to Michael.
There's no doubt Michael was an extremely talented poet/ singer, though letters written by friends and family illustrate such an inspirational individual- not only because of his celebrity status, but who he really was as a person.
This site has really captured that, and I'm very touched.
What's so inspiring is his apparent down to earth nature and interest in others, despite international recognition as a 'rock star'. That's so important... people (including myself) lose sight of what's really important in this world. It has all become such a facade.
For me, this site has been very grounding.
Kelland has made such a wonderful memorial for Michael. He seems such a wise, caring and warm person and it's so obvious these qualities were passed on to Michael.

I fell in love with Micharl Hutchence in 1987.... my boyfriend wasn't too impressed, but he stood no chance! The music of INXS has been with me ever since.... Michael's picture is on my fridge... now my 5 year old daughter thinks he is gorgeous, and we dance and sing to his music all the time. He is gorgeous... always will be. I dream about him....the most fantastic dreams, and I wake up happy and whisper a thank you.

I am still somewhat in disbelief at the fact that I will never enjoy seeing Michael Hutchence on a live performance or TV show again. He was my true heartthrob growing up. I always felt as if I just connected with him, like we had the same style. I think that is why I was always so intrigued with him. I can't express how special this site is to me. I am very glad to see such a fitting memorial website for the beautiful spirit that he was.
There are just so many things I could say about Michael's music and about the man himself....but Michael was his music, and the music is Michael. You can't help but to just sit and listen to such poigniant words from such a strong yet weak man. I appreciate his strengths and weaknesses and it's Michael's music that makes you apreiate all of these qualtites. Thank you Michael...thank you for your music and your charismatic ways. I only met Micheal momentarily but was overwhelmed by his God like quality and beauty, he was polite and and conversation ended after a few short minutes. I was standing in the middle of William St Melbourne near a tram stop when I heard the news over my radio headset that he had taken his life, I was devastated and felt pain for his daughter Tiger and wife Paula.
I thank the band for the opportunity to meet with Micheal even for only those few short minutes.

Michael, you will remain in our hearts for ever and ever...seeing you in a concert in Buenos Aires in 1990 was what made me a fan of INXS...I remember that day was your birthday and your band mates gave you a very “special” present: we all sang “happy birthday” at the stadium.

I was flipping channel last night, when I saw the story on E! I've heard of the group INXS before, don't know much about them, but like their music.
After last night, I feel I've known him for years. I'm now downloading music recorded by the band, and here I am. I felt sad about what happened, because I was feeling like that years ago, when I couldn't get hold of any of my so called friends. It's sad that no one was there for him TO SAVE HIM in time. His daughter is the remnant of Michael, she is so beautiful and visiting here made me feel closer to both of them. Even though I've just begun! He will surely be missed.
