Hola, soy Laura y vivo en España.
Acabo de leer la noticia de que INXS vuelven a la escena musical y de nuevo me ha venido a la mente la figura de Michael Hutchence.
Tengo 31 años y la m?_sica de INXS y la figura de su cantante, Michael, sin desmerecer al resto de componentes del grupo, son un muy grato recuerdo de años pasados.
A?_n con la templanza que da el tiempo al recordar a personas que ya no están, es evidente que Hutchence tenía carisma.
En mi memoria quedan grabadas imágenes dificilmente superables. Si tengo que elegir una de ellas, me quedo con la imagen de Michael en el video de ??Baby don??t cry?? bajando una sencilla escalera...
Es absurdo pensar que el tiempo compensa la falta de los seres queridos, pero consuela saber que, al menos, estuvieron allí en alg?_n momento.
Me considero afortunada de haber podido disfrutar, aunque fuera en la distancia, de la presencia de Michael en mi vida :))

I just wanted to say, what a beautiful and moving tribute it is for Michael to have a site maintained by those who knew and loved him most. I hope the creation of this site and the knowledge that so many people were touched by his life, helps you to move through the pain and come to a clearer realization of the purpose of even the saddest of fates.

I'd also like to say a small something to his family and friends. I am sorr for your loss for I know that time does little to heal. However you have the music and legacy to remind you what was most important...It was entertaining his fans. I am one entertained fan. I love you all.
To One Mick From Two...I sit here as a 25 year old American in a modest Denver apartment finding myself as I do from time to time. Thinking and missing Michael. I am to this day deeply saddened about what happened on 9/22/97. I quote Waking Ned Devine

Hi all,writing for the third time and wanting to say this is an awesome sight. i really feel michael is in a good place and is looking over all his family and fans.Especially Tiger Lilly.I know he misses her,I hope she knows how much he loved her and will always love her. I enjoyed viewing your website... I have always been a great fan of Michael, and when ever I hear his songs it brings back a lot of good memories of my teen years growing up back in the eighties and early nineties. Its sad to me that he had to leave us so soon, I wonder some times if he was here today what hit he would have on the radio now?

I have never gotten over the shock of the day I heard Michael Hutchence had died. I was on a house boat in the middle of now where with friends when I heard the announcement. Every body went silent and I went to my cabin and cryed. I will never forget that day and I will never forget what a legend Michael was and to me still is.

Michael had a talent that few of us can ever aspire to. I say “aspire to” as he worked on it and perfected both his writing and performances from '77 onwards through hard graft until inxs broke worldwide. Like all talented people, I'm sure he had his difficult moments and excesses but it will never diminish his achievements. I think of him alot for some reason. I was never a fanatic and wouldn't rate much of inxs' work before Listen Like Thieves but now, i find that both the misunderstood “Elegantly Wasted” and the career highlight “Welcome...” are always on my playlist. Hes an inspiration to me as I look at the giant poster of the solo album cover on the wall of my room. He had class. Maybe he was ment to leave us so soon.....achieve so much and then as does any pro performer...exit stage left! Long may his music live on. It still sounds so fresh. Thank you, Michael Hutchence, for living life to its fullest potential and for being a true winner in that life.

Growing up in the 80's, INXS was one of my favourite bands. I saw there concert at the CNE stadium in Toronto in the late 80's and they were phenomenal. Michael had such stage presence. I was deeply saddened to hear of his untimely death. I continue to be a true and loyal fan and sometimes I forget that he is no longer with us. It just proves how strong his presence is still felt just as it was a few short years ago.

I truly love Michael with all my deepest affection of a friend. I loved him ever since I was nine years old well now I am twenty-three and I wish I could have gone to one of his concerts. He was truly a mystifying singer. I truly believe he is in heaven with our sweet Lord Jesus and I groan to see him one day up there too. To Michael the legend I will always remember you. es una lastima que alguien tan grande como vos se halla ido de esa manera. fuiste el mejor cantante de los 80. el show que diste en bsas en 1994 fue impresionante. este sabado toca inxs en argentina, seguramente va a haber un gran vacio sin vos, pero ir es el mejor homenaje que se te puede hacer. a mas de uno se nos va a caer una lagrima cuando escuchemos never tears apart. alos que le guste inxs escribanme.
