Michael you are always in my thoughts. Your songs are always my pick up before I go to work and funny to say that they are in my mind all day. Sometimes I have to catch myself as they are song out loud at times and get funny looks but, that is ok it keeps my day postive in a new direction. Sorry that your not here to see this but I'm sure your upstairs watching. This ones for you mate.

The tv show brought up an old wound, boy do I miss Micheal. He reminds me so much of my brother, who hanged himself also. He had a drug/ alcolhol problem. After all these years I'm still wondering WHY?. What would make these two beautiful men do this and leave their children ,and family behind. Guess we'll never really know why. Just have to keep going forward.
As the parent of a precocious 7 year old, I can understand the grief of losing a child. No parent should have to outlive their child. I don't care how old you are, or how old the child is. I know that the day they buried Michael was a day they put part of you in the grave with him. Please accept my heartfelt sorrow on your behalf.
And my thanks for the music. Because without parents and family who supported him, he would never have been able to be what he was.
And I do believe that it will only hurt until the day you hold him in your arms again. And that day will come.

How can I express how much your music has meant to me in my life, Michael? Your songs and voice were a part of the soundtrack of my life, and your music helped to mold me into the soul that I am today. I grew up being a fan and listening to you & INXS while I was in high school, during the '80s. I still find myself thinking of you from time to time, and your music still excites me and moves me in the way that it always has. I always thought you were one of the most incredibly sexy men on the planet, and I loved and admired your beautiful, poetic soul. All these year later, I still grieve that you are no loger with us. Whenever I hear your INXS songs, I always think lovingly and warmly of you. You will always live in my Heart, eternally young and beautiful. God Bless you and keep you always, Michael Hutchence. Michael will be missed... he cannot be replaced... but luckily his voice, his style will live on and inspire us. In college, I was a huge fan. I listened to INXS all the time, loved the music, loved his voice. I had posters of Michael all over my wall... sadly it was the hair. I Loved his long hair (the material side of me) but was mesmerized by his voice. I remember standing in the middle of a dance floor at a club, standing, staring at the large screen if an INXS video appeared, just standing and staring! In early 90s I stood in a line ALL night waiting for a chance to buy tickets to their concert in San Diego. I had to stand next to some scary, smelly people but would do it again if I ever had the chance. Sadly, without Michael, I will not. He cannot be replaced. I am happy that the band will continue... with their music, he will live on. New people will get to enjoy their music and Michaels legacy. Thank you INXS for not giving up. Thank you for your music, your style, your songs and thank you for Michael. He will be missed.
Michael Hutchence has led a deep void in my heart. His music and flamoboyancy as a great entertainer will always be remembered. It was especially sad for me to learn of his tragic passing. I am a year younger than he is and I have not lived life because I was a university student for a long time but Michael brought me such joy and now his passing has brought me much pain. I wish the people in Hong kong had kept a better record of his finances so that his beneficiaries could receive what is rightfully theirs. Michael was a superstar living the dreams of many but in the end there was nothing for him or so he thought which makes it so hard to comprend why he did such an act to end his own life. My own father killed himself when My mother was conceiving me I never felt sad because I never knew him and to survive my mother did not want us to be sad. INXS are my favourite band. Their's is the music that i listen to everyday and constantly inspires me. Michael Hutchence is my hero because of all the fantastic music he wrote. His voice brightens up my day....and i didn't even know him! i never thought one person could change the lives of so many people without even knowing them! Michaels tragic death cast a dark shadow across the world and every one of his fans was devastated. But i now know that he will be alive forever...as long as we keep playing his music. So sing along until your throat is sore and dance until you drop and know that michael is right there with you. He will always be my friend because he's always there to pick me up when i'm down with his magnificent music, wonderful voice and stunning smile!

I am a big fan of INXS, and when I was younger, I was, like many teenagers, in love with Micheal. Now I am a mother of three, a cancer survivor, and last may I visited Australia, something I promised to do long time ago during KICK TOUR in Buenos Aires (i am argentinian) It was really nice beeing in all those beautiful places (specially in the dessert) listening to all those great songs in my IPOD. Thanks for make lots of people dream, fall in love, cry, laugh...

As I sit here and listen to “The one thing”, I know Michael's memory will forever live on. That song introduced me to a band and sound that defined my youth and still continues to bring insight to my current being. Here's hoping that his family will find comfort in knowing that Michael's life touched many from the sound that still reverberates throughout the globe today. May he forever rest in peace. G.

I had the pleasure of attending probably one of his last few concerts here in Orlando in late 1997. I was backstage and got to meet the whole band after the show, but Michael was not in the room. He quickly peeked his head in the door, looked around and shut it without coming in. I immediately went out the door to find him standing in the hall. I asked him if he would mind taking a picture with me and he said in a happy tone “Oh, it's you”. (I had been rather close to the stage in audience) He said he would be glad to take a picture with me, I then asked him if I could give him a kiss, and he obliged. That is the picture I have in my hand right now. Me grabbing tightly to him in mid pucker. I will treasure that always and feel lucky to of actually gotten to meet him.

My first experience with INXS was Listen Like Thieves in 1985. My cousin had the cassette. I've been hooked ever since. Michael is sorely missed.

I can still remember being at home the day I found out that Michael was gone....I can remember crying tears for a wonderful, beautiful man that I had never met but that I felt I knew through his writing and his voice. He was a truly gifted, sexy man, and one could not take their eyes off of him. I still find that whenever I see pictures of Michael or watch INXS's videos.

I saw Michael and INXS a total of three times , The best time was at Rock city in Nottingham Engalnd. This was an intimate venue compared to the likes of Wembley, and during the concert Michael and the others were having one on one conversations with the audience, it was amazing, He always had me mesmerised with his voice wether he was singing or talking, and could not get to grips with his passing. Everyone talks about where they were when Princess Dianna died, well i was working nights, i am a nurse, and heard the news it shocked me to my bones. I still love listening to his voice and when i get married for the second time this year i will be listening to him again for our song.

INXS and particularly Michael Hutchence were the first band I ever loved. I was 5 years old when my neighbours older sisters where in their early teens and used to play there then new albums “The Swing and Shaboo Shabar” I thought Michael was sooo very gorgeous and dreamed to be on his arm one day basing all the men I thought to be sexy on his looks (this continued to this day). I thought Michael and INXS captured the 80s and reminds me of my childhood and my nieghbours sisters who I grew up with. I cried when I heard of Michaels death and even taped his funeral as I felt like a part of me had died too. When I was 12 my brother bought me the INXS - Kick poster and tape for my christmas present ( I remember him buying me the tape coz he hid it in a shoe box so I wouldn't guess what it was as he and I always bought each other music for birthdays and christmas's.
Well Michael I never got to be your girl, maybe in another time, another place...
But I will always love you and love your music and you will always rock my world
