Michael Hutchence's death will always be a deep pain in my heart. I loved the music he made with INXS. To his friends and loved ones, I wish all of you God's peace and healing.

Michael has definitely remained in my thoughts all these years...and his music and words endure. I attended the U2 concert in Philadelphia last evening and Bono dedicated “Stuck in a Moment” to Michael and expressed how much he was missed and that he thought of him alot especially this time of year. Just wanted to pass on that the audience cheered at the mention of his name:)
Cheers,
Jill

At the age of 19, back in 1986, I had the pleasure of interviewing INXS as they ended their UK tour in my home city of Norwich. The guys were cutting their European tour short, not going to Scandinavia due to Chernobyl. Meeting Michael was amazing, what a truly beautiful man....the rest of the band too. My mum came to get me from backstage (sounds embarrassing but she was at the gig, a cool mum) and Michael picked her up, called her his mummy fan, and swung her round. A magical moment.
A beautiful man with so much to offer so sadly lost. Thank you Michael for giving me such a wonderful memory. May you be forever at peace and filled with happiness

I have been an INXS fan since “The Swing” and was fortunate enough to see the band on the “Listen Like Thieves” Tour as well as their last tour after the release of “Elegantely Wasted”. When I heard the news of Michael's death, my heart sank. I miss him terribly. He will always be remembered in my heart. Thank you.

I was gathering things for my sons Birthday when I heard the news on the radio that morning.
I was shocked and was feeling much hurt inside. So now, on Nov.22, I celebrate My Son's birth and the loss of a beautiful voice. You will always be missed.

Michael I miss you soooooooo much!
I search for you in every face and still with an ache in my heart.
You will never ever be forgotten(as if we can)my prayers to the Lord are always for you to find peace that evaded you.So young and so beautiful, you gave so much and asked for nothing!
Your haunting voice so talented and so beautiful will ring in my ears forever.Your smile that launched a million faces and that smile that melted hearts which are broken now can never ever be replaced with any other.
Tiger Lilly will always be looked from above by you for sure.I would give just about anything to see you JUST ONCE again!
r.i.p.and shine like you did.
Unintented accidents do happen and I know you would never have done that had you not been on those precribed drugs that were'nt even monitered.I wish Someone was with you to help you those final moments of pain.Pain that I feel still thinking about you!
love and will always miss you a treasure you were to us.
Yours humble Anna

I still to this day have an ache in my heart over the early death of Michael. It really turned my world upside down. I didn't know Michael personally as many didn't, but he was the first person to die that I really cared about. I took the day off from work to watch his funeral and I have it on video. He was such a special person. It is so comforting though to know that his spirit lives on in his beautiful daughter. Rest in Peace Michael.

We are only 16 years of age, but a couple of months ago, we were fortunate enough to come across watching the 'Need You Tonight' video on VH1. Ever since then we have been listening to INXS and we think they are a fantastic band. Michael Hutchence was an amazing performer and instantly captured our attention. We are now dedicated to collecting every album and DVD of INXS and in our eyes, this goes to show, that Michael will never die and still lives on in the heart of all INXS fans and those who love him.xx

INXS was always be a big part of my life and music. I listened to INXS during Desert Storm as a young private, it got me thru the hard times. I went to the KICK Tour in Dallas. I lost my voice that night from standing on my chair and singing loud as a could. One of my friends I was with could not believe I new every song they played. The day Michael died I felt like I lost a real good friend... Scott, US Army Ranger

We are 18 years old so did not have the pleasure seening INXS live. We always new who INXS were growing up in Australia. but over the years we have discovered their timeless music which will carry Michaels voice and memory on through the ages. Looking back and watching clips of him and the impression he left on the people around (the band, bono, larry, family..etc) him was very touching and at times surprisingly overwhelming, something that we will always remember.

INXS,
Thank you for all your music you have made and shared with us! Your “LIVE BABY LIVE” DVD at Wembly was great and listening to you talk about this experience and Michael was very touching. The advice and knowledge you have made over the years is invaluable, thank you Andrew.

This website is a great tribute to Michaels memory, we just have to sing 'baby don't cry' to ourselves when we read it...

Love and happiness forever,
Erin and Shannon

Coming across this site was a wonderful ! I had the fortunate opportunity to see INXS with Michael play a VH1 special about 10 years ago.. Basically a very intimate setting with a couple, at most, thousand HUGE INXS fans. I was in the front row, and WOW, was Michael Hutchence a site to see ! He was an amazing performer, with an amazing smile, and the most unbelievable stage performance I had ever seen. I was a fan walking into the concert, but I was a “follower” walking out. I was so saddened when shortly after he took his very blessed life. I know his family must be extraordinarily proud of him, and so sad without his daily presence. What a nice tribute you have put this page together -- I'm thrilled to have the chance to offer my tribute. Best, Jeanne

I too had the awesome pleasure of seeing INXS on there Kick Tour in 87. This is the band I grew up listening to and I still listen to them to this day. I remember pushing my way up to the front just to see them perform.“It was awesome and a night I will never forget”!!.My favorite song “Never tear us apart”.Michael “May your spirit live on for a thousand years”.

I had the pleasure of seeing INXS way back in 1986, in Austin TX. I was so excited to see my favorite band, and was not disappointed by the show. I remember getting to the front and almost having a stroke being that close to Michael thinking he was singing only to me. Rest in peace and thanx for all the music memories

I loved looking at this site with all of its content. I first heard INXS in the early 80's and was hooked instantly. Recently I was able to get a hold of the DVD of the concert at Wimbley Stadium...wow! I was never fortunate enough to have seen them in person, unfortunately now I never will. This DVD gave a closer look at the huge talent and charisma of a man who was far deeper than most even knew. I have read other postings about his sex appeal and how he was mesmerizing...I truly agree that he had a way of drawing you into what he felt through the music that he so passionately sang. What a gift it is to have had him for even the short time that we did...much like the loss of another great charismatic singer Jim Morrison. I will forever and always see INXS with Michael at the lead...I now have the DVD to remind me of that special time in our lives that we were blessed to have heard his voice...a voice of love, poetry, charisma and depth that was silenced only in life not in our minds. We can pick up a CD or DVD and hear his voice and the music that changed our lives. Thank you so much for this site...I lost my father to suicide in 89' and share in the loss that the family feels, especially that beautiful child Tiger Lily. Sandra
