Being and INXS fan since the beginning of my life Michael Hutchence made a great contribute to what i believe in now for music, as i am planning to be a lead guitarist and have a great voice like him one day, he was a genius so are the others like garry beers and kirk pengly, anyway what i'm trying to say is RIP Michael
Thanks for all the great music you have graced the world with and i will always remember the song never tear us apart, others like what you need and new sensation are classics and should never be forgotten

Not only was Michael charismatic in front of a crowd, swayin to the beat..rithing through the rythem of it all but he to me is the Epitome of what a TRUE frontman should be...others could learn alot from watching the old videos and concert tapes/DVDS on how to work a crowd and make them beg for one more Encore.

Incredibly, I never knew the music of Michael or INXS - but my daughter did. Recently she introduced me to DVD's she had of the band, and Michael, and he touched me to the bottom of my heart. What a wonderful talent! What a beautiful voice! And even though I never had the pleasure of listening to him in concerts as my daughter did, I feel that I have through his music that I listen to, over and over and over again. I now treasure the gift of love he gave the world through his music, just as all his fans do. And though I did not know him, I now miss him very much.

I just want to say I remember meeting Micheal when I was 17 or so when INXS opened for Adam Ant in Houston Texas. I was a pleasure and a honor to met Michael and the Band. They were very nice and I will keep towel and the signatures to remember the great day I had back in the early 80's. I miss Michael as a great Proformer and I am sure as a whole person. Thank you Tracy Edge

Well Michael...It's been a long time. Lets go back 22 years. Thats when i first heard your amazing talents. Then we can jump right into 1983 at the US festival. Not only did i get the pleasure of seeing INXS, But I also had the most unforgetable experience. I actually was back stage and met you, Kirk, Garry, Tim, Andrew and Jon. WOW!!! I still can remember to this day how wonderful you all were. Since then, I have had the utmost pleasure to travel and see many concerts/tours 13 to be exact. In 1984 you and your Brothers (INXS) won so many awards (not to mention many other awards over many years)I'm so proud of you and all your accomplishments. We all miss you terribly and think of you daily. The band has done a Switch. But you would think they KICK!! I Know you would be so very proud of them all. I am....... I'll be thinking of you during this Tour Jan 30th. All my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family..... God Bless

Throughout the years of INXS, I was a fan and musician of hard classic rock, only. As I musically matured around the age of 25, I became more diversified in my taste for music. I always liked INXS' music prior to my age of 25. They always had some catchy riff or chorus line, which caught my attention while flipping through the radio stations. Now, at age 38, I listen to lyrics instead of just the instruments. After reading the lyrics to some of the songs, I was quite impressed. I am not all that familiar with Michael's sole or joint band's effort regarding the lyrics. I love the writing style because you have to stop and think about what is being said. I have really grown fond of Michael and INXS in the past few months. As I listen to some of the songs, I find joy and sadness, simultaneously. I sincerely respect the band's music. If my health permitted me, I would either create or join an INXS tribute band.

Michael, Inxs isn't the same without you and noone can ever fill your spot. Not even the new singer JD can. It's nearly been 10 years without hearing a Michael Hutchence led INXS.
Fans from Australia and beyond miss u very much Michael. My you Rest In Peace

What else is there to say but I miss you and there will never be another you. HE broke the mold. As a teen back in the 80's you touched my heart and mind with your words and delivery of them. Everything about you drew me in. Your voice, your walk, your uniqueness, your........YOU. Thanks for making me dance and sing out loud over and over all these years. What a great combination of talent INXS was. Thanks for finding your talent and sharing it with us all. We are blessed to have been present when it all was new and groundbreaking and to now reflect and smile and have great memories of it all. You will always live on with your MILLIONS of fans. We will all be sitting around one day in the nursing home singing INXS tunes through our dentures and dancing in our wheelchairs to our grandchildren. ROCK ON!!!!

If only we could fly, we could see your dreams,if only we could dream your dreams,if only all the stars could shine like you, the search for what you could not find was always here. Then God would find the voice of an Angel and tell us that he heard you sing, its only in the life of a stranger that you find the meaning of a world that lost, the loss of a poet and a dreamer that was searching for his dream, if only we could close our eyes and maybe see you in our dreams, we could fly and see that your still here.

You made me smile and dance when I had nothing to smile and dance about.

Thank you & God Bless

Michael will be missed; however, I'm so happy the band will go on. It's a true tribute to his memory that they will continue on as a band and have taken so much time and put so much thought into a new singer so they could continue on as the band they were & have yet to be.

INXS was the first band I fell in love with when it came down to music. I had the honor of seeing them perform 3 times in the Philadelphia area, and every show was, simply put, awesome. Michael Hutchence is missed dearly. It damaged my heart when the sad news was relayed over the radio. I still love INXS, and know they could easily be on par with U2 (whom they always competed for awards with years ago). In my perspective, they are above any other bands out there.

INXS will never be the same without the true and original lead singer Michael Hutchence; he is greatly missed by this fan.
