A wonderful site. The 80's were a great time because of Michael and INXS. Their songs were always playing in my car. Not a day goes by, that I do not hear “Johnson's Aeroplane” in my head. Thanks for the memories.

Hello,
I've just finished reading 'Just a Man' and it triggered so many memories growing up in Sydney and what a profound effect Michael had on my teenage years. I hadn't thought about those days for so long. I'm now 30 and live in Tokyo, and thank him for bringing back warm thoughts to my heart...Tara

Dear Michael,
Sometimes in life things are never fair. Just as you were taken away, and to will you back would be so selfish. Just as we know there's a cyberspace, we know there's a heaven's place. That's definetly where you reside.

When I was 8 years old I had the biggest crush on Michael Hutchence. He was soo cute!! I wanted him to be mine so much. I was first introduced to INXS by my mom's boyfriend when I was 7. I still have the tape he gave me (Kick) and I like every song on it. Recently I downloaded a few songs that aren't on my tape and they are great. I was shocked to learn of Michael's death. I found out by seeing an issue of “People” magazine and he was on the cover of it. It said that he had died and I just couldn't believe it. I believe he was a talented person and it's sad that he died at a young age. Oh, and to the Oasis member who criticized him by calling him a “has-been”, just look at yourself now. You make yourself look like a fool to everyone and INXS lasted much, much longer than Oasis. I suggest you keep your mouth shut. RIP Michael =(

Unlike many people Michael lives on in his music.
My heart skips a beat whenever I hear his music or name.
I'll never foget.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael during INXS's “Listen Like Thieves” tour. We spoke for approximately 20 minutes and I remember feeling so happy the entire time. He was a sweetheart. I can still see the smile on his face, the look in his eyes and hear his sweet voice from that meeting to this day. He was a beautiful man, inside and out, and he is greatly missed. Rest well sweet Michael. Your darling daughter is in good hands.

Michael and INXS were first introduced to em by my brother who was a large Ferris Brothers fan and often went to there after parties at the holiday in Glasgow.

I was only 13 and really should of liked Bros and Culture Club but Michael and his onstage Charisma and talents blew me away.

And still to this day no-one compares to him live on stage and his lyrics no-one can deny we can relate to.

I have just heard that INXS are playing with Blondie In December in Glasgow and can't wait.

Looking upon this as a celebration of Michael and the band.
Obviously it won't be the same without him but I'm sure his spirit will be there.

I last visited this sight last year and it is looking fantastic well done to everyone.

Michael was a gorgeous looking man who appeared to have great kindness and calmness of spirit, not to mention amazing talent and I think its beautiful that Tiger resembles him so much.

I can't believe it is almost 5 years that the world has been without Michael. I can honestly say that I have been mourning him the entire 5 years...I continue to cry as I write this. He was truely one of a kind. I pray that if Tiger has any ounce of musical talent that Bob let her spread her wings and fly. She is his legacy. I continue to listen to his music on a daily basis and there are days when I feel like I've lost a brother. It was easy to know him because he was real. He was not fake and didn't put on a front. He wore his heart on his sleeve and shared it with the world. I am so grateful that he passed through this world during my generation. Michael will always be alive in my heart and in my house.

..spent five minutes talking with him many years ago during an italian tour ( milano's gig), a kind person, not an unreachable superstar, miss him so much in his songs, a great great personality and ego he had, well, my words look simple...but I miss him...
