we can't be;ieve it's nearly 5 years

Hello, I went to see INXS play at the AVALON in Boston Ma on June 26th, 2002. I wasn't sure how I would react to seeing them without Micheal for the first time since his death. I never really got over his death. It took me several years to actually listen to the music without crying. Well, the first few songs were fine, Jon Stevens does a great job singing. But then he sang “Not Enough Time” which is one of my favorite songs, because you can hear Micheal's beautiful deep voice so clearly...I broke into tears, and I couldn't stop crying through the whole song, not even counting the tribute portion they did for “Never tear us apart!”. I love you Micheal, I always will. I miss you terribly, and will never forget you. God Bless you, your family and friends!

It's difficult to put into words the impact that Michael has made on my life during my teenage years and still in adult life.
He was a great guy that will be forever missed.
I will listen to your music for many years to come

I've been an INXS fan since I was 13 years old and I was lucky enough to meet the band in Toronto and Montreal in 1993. I cried my eyes out when I heard the tragic news about my “close friend”. I am still very moved every time I hear INXS. Now at 28 I am reading the book his mother and sister wrote and I realise how Micheal is still a part of me, how he influenced me. I deeply miss him and I keep trying to concentrate on what his firends and relatives say that he will be with us forever. In a way you are Micheal, but in another way your absence is so obvious. Thank you for inspiring me to become who I have become.

I recently saw the remaining members of INXS perform during their tour in the U.S. It was my first time seeing them without Michael. Very bittersweet. The tribute was beautifully done and was very moving. The band invited some children to come on the stage and play and sing with them and I must admit I thought Michael would have loved that and it made me feel his spirit was there.

Sat up last night looking through my many videos and news clippings. So sad that this beautiful man is no longer with us. Never Tear Us Apart brings a lump to my throat every time I hear it - can't bring myself to see the new INXS line-up when they tour here in a few months, I know life goes on but I couldn't bear to watch them knowing you should be there. He will never live up to your charismatic nature.

I still cant belive Michael has passed, Almost every day i hear Inxs on the radio or see them on TV, I just watched a doc on Inxs and it gave me shivers, when they show the news on Michaels passing, I am so glad i got to meet Michael back when The Swing was just released, i got to speak to him one on one in a pub in Melbourne called the Town Hall Hotel.
Michael, you will never be forgotten.
